I loved everything about this hotel, but the gracious and friendly staff was the best. Each and every person we encountered went out of there way. I'm so happy we chose to stay at this property!

Nice hotel near all things London.

VERY nice staff and dining. Rooms a bit small and beds a bit too firm if I am being picky. Would have liked an enclosed shower so water didn't get everywhere in the bathroom. Overall a good experience!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write your fantastic review of your time at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel. I am pleased that you found the service as well as the whole dining experience to be fantastic as our service is something we take great pride in. However, I was sorry to learn that you had found your room to be small. I think you'll be pleased to know that we have six different categories of rooms here at The Chesterfield Mayfair, all coming in various sizes and layouts and therefore I'm sure we could find a suitable room for you should you consider returning to us in the future. We also have the option to make your bed firmer or softer depending on your preferences. We do hope we can welcome you back sometime in the near future. Kind regards, Adam Lake General Manager

Kitchen issues.

Pros: Convenient and clean.
Cons: They need to re evaluate their employees. Below the standard.
Stayed with my wife 2 nights. Room too small for two people (2) people. First night dinner ok but they forgot to bring my wife’s salad. Second night dinner and breakfast very poor. I assume they were having kitchen issues as it took an hour to bring dinner out and at least 45 minutes to bring out scramble eggs. People were walking out. I would not stay there again.

Highly Recommend!

We arrived at the hotel late night on September 18,2017, one of the lady staff was super nice. Very pleasant, and gave us free breakfast the next morning. She recommended places to eat that night, the hotel is in the central location- short walking distance to Buckingham palace, HydePark, Covenant Garden, the Jubilee tube line, US Embassy and restaurants. The breakfast selection was absolutely delicious, fresh orange juice -the best! Highly recommend! Comfortable bed and pillows, slippers and robes were available. We can definitely stay here again.

One of London's Loveliest Boutique Hotels

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, extremely friendly professional staff
My husband and I stayed at the Chesterfield Mayfair during Christmas, 2011, and were extremely pleased with our experience. This hotel is stunningly beautiful. Even if you're not staying there, it is well worth it to make your way to the Chesterfield for an evening cocktail, as the bar and lounge area are exceedingly gorgeous and cozy. The location is excellent; we pretty much walked everywhere we went, and we went all over. We stayed in the Chesterfield Suite, which was so beautiful and comfortable we sometimes didn't want to leave. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible, happily attending to any request. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While not inexpensive, the Chesterfield made our stay worth it. We would definitely return in the future.

Cute but very cramped

The hotel was well located in a quiet neighborhood near Buckingham Palace , a very good Indian restaurant Tamarindo, and not too far from an entrance to the tube. The room was clean but very very small, (as a matter of fact it was much smaller that the cabin we had on a cruise we had recently finished!) one person had to stand in a corner while the other passed by the end of the bed. I would hate to have to spend much time in the room ! The window looked out onto the back side of another building, quite gloomy Maid service was slow, were out all day returned a 4:00 PM to get cleaned up for the evening to find our room had still not been attended. The restaurant service in the morning for breakfast was good. The front desk service was good, with exception of the day concierge who had to rank as the rudest I’ve ever encountered and any hotel in any country anywhere in the world! So if your need any help during his shift---you are on your own
