2nd stay here and just for 1 night for early flight home via T2 Heathrow .As before its very convenient from arrival via tube/car ,well signposted and then to Terminal for departure Very impressed by all staff from checkin through bar /food and drink in bar and ease of getting extension lead for cpap machine .Everyone was friendly professsional and well trained . Extension lead only available for medical device use but explained tactfully ! Bar was as before very well staffed with good staff -good choice of wines by glass and small plates -I had porkbelly pieces in spicy sauce excellent .Wimbledon final was on and excellent opportunities to watch from almost anywhere in bar . Only negative is that bar furniture eg banquettes /chairs are very tatty and look very tired -its a real jolt since rest of hotel is absolutely spanking smart -I mentioned this when we stayed in january but it does not do hotel credit !Maybe a refurb is overdue or delayed .

Expected way higher from brand and cost! Terribly dark room, dated decor and flooring in bathroom, shower door wouldn’t close water leaked everywhere. White towels were yellowish. Inconvenient location for light switches. Coffee bar area had no lighting. Bed had sunken insides and lump in the middle. Air conditioning was freezing when it was on and then room got hot, not consistent or good airflow. Hairdryer cord, not long enough when attached inside drawer. Could not manage to get on Wi-Fi Best thing about our stay was the amazing breakfast Probably the only good thing I can say
