The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. It is in a safe area and close to an underground station. There is also a taxi stand directly outside the hotel. Small tip to travelers - there is no air conditioning, but that is common for this area.

Room was fine, great view, however dated. The desk set up had very little space to accommodate clothing if you didn't want to live out of your suitcase. The large TV took up 90 percent of the surface space for your items. No outlets in the bathroom for hairdryer or flatiron. The tub/shower is a very high step in/out for the elderly or short, big fall hazard, needs to be just a shower. The plumming needs updated as this is the only toilet in all of England we had to "prime" to flush.by flushing once and the 2nd time it worked. I gave it a 4 star as they were updating the lo by and we saw other floors had been updated hoping the 2nd floor is coming soon. The location is perfect for the towr bridge, Tower of London and the tain station.

The breakfast was excellent and the location ideal. However, we had an issue with the AC. The thermostat would not come on. When we complained they claimed that the AC was central and not turned on yet for the season, but all other people travelling with us had AC in their rooms. They offered us a fan. Luckly, the temperature dropped and made it bearable.

The hotel is convieniently located, near the London Bridge and near Tower Hill subway station. The rooms are OK and clean. Our room had a great view on the Thames and was quiet. However, the internet does not work, you cannot control the A/C our heating in your room (impossible to adjust the temperature) and the maids did not clean our room during our 2-day stay. The elevators are extra slow... Overall, not what you would expect of a hotel of this calibre.

Disappointing as stayed here several times. Early check in was good. Later in the evening noticed the bin in the bathroom still had rubbish from the previous guests. Beds were really comfy, although woken up by housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am when checkout was 11am for no reason. Then to top it off only to then hear drilling from an sds drill in the building somewhere reverberating in the room. Spoke to reception at checkout who responded with thanks for letting us know 😳 Need to do more for customer satisfaction I’m afraid 😟

The general hotel was great and the staff were all amazing. Breakfast was excellent. Some aspects of the room (tired looking bathroom) weren’t as expected but didn’t spoil our overall stay. The view of the bridge and shard really made the stay special.
