Beautiful suite with views of the Tower Bridge, and Saint Catherine Docks. Tower Bridges steps from the hotel along with shopping Tower of London is only about 200 feet away. Area outside the hotel can get crowded during the daytime. Restaurants in the immediate area are not that good so I suggest going to neighboring Whitechapel. I was strongly suggest taking Uber boats around town as it is a lot cheaper than taxis or an Uber car.

The hotel was nice and was in a great area. Very close to many toursit attractions and very easy to get around. The one complaint is that the air conditioning was not working properly which was especially problematic given the fact that we were there when the temperture was routinely exceeding 80 degrees F / 27 degrees C with +75% humidity. The hotel provided fans but their effectiveness was limited at best.

The hotel is nice. The location is fantastic! Conveniently located. The staff was very nice. The only complaint that we have is that the air conditioning was not working properly and we were there during a particularly warm (88 degrees F/31 degrees C), 74% humidity, time of year (August 12-16, 2025). The hotel provided fans but that had limited effect.

London Bridge View

Amazing hotel, comfortable room with an absolutely amazing view of London Bridge. Friendly staff and lovely restaurants both for just a drink and to enjoy a meal. Perfect location for Tower of London and boat rides. Cannot fault The Tower Hotel for our stay you made it very enjoyable

We very much regret staying at the Tower Hotel. I am not a picky traveler. But: 1. Our room reserved through Expedia was too warm for comfort, to the point that we had difficulty sleeping. It was cooler outside than in our room. The front desk assured us that there was nothing they could do. The ventilation system pumped no air into our room. 2. When we joined a Trafalgar Tours group at the same hotel, our new room was also too warm. Only after the tour guide complained to the front desk did we get moved to a comfortable room. 3. There was always a wait for elevators, and the elevators were always full. One elevator was out of order during the seven days we were in the hotel, either under the Expedia reservation or the Trafalgar Tours reservation. 4. The hotel kept its music in the lobby turned up high enough that it was difficult to hear others. In particular, the music drowned out the front desk personnel. 5. Front desk personnel spoke as quietly as possible, to the point that communication was impossible. If one asked them to repeat themselves, they repeated it as softly as before. 6. We didn’t eat in the attached restaurant. When I visited it shortly before noon one day, the music was turned up so high that diners would have to shout to be heard. 7. Various power outlets didn’t work in any of the three rooms to which we were assigned. Some outlets worked. Some didn’t. We will avoid any future tours that use the Tower Hotel.
