The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. It is in a safe area and close to an underground station. There is also a taxi stand directly outside the hotel. Small tip to travelers - there is no air conditioning, but that is common for this area.

Room was fine, great view, however dated. The desk set up had very little space to accommodate clothing if you didn't want to live out of your suitcase. The large TV took up 90 percent of the surface space for your items. No outlets in the bathroom for hairdryer or flatiron. The tub/shower is a very high step in/out for the elderly or short, big fall hazard, needs to be just a shower. The plumming needs updated as this is the only toilet in all of England we had to "prime" to flush.by flushing once and the 2nd time it worked. I gave it a 4 star as they were updating the lo by and we saw other floors had been updated hoping the 2nd floor is coming soon. The location is perfect for the towr bridge, Tower of London and the tain station.

The breakfast was excellent and the location ideal. However, we had an issue with the AC. The thermostat would not come on. When we complained they claimed that the AC was central and not turned on yet for the season, but all other people travelling with us had AC in their rooms. They offered us a fan. Luckly, the temperature dropped and made it bearable.

Front desk staff very courteous and helpful. There was a mistake on the type of room booked and the staff corrected it without any trouble, We ate at the restaurant three times. Two full meals and once for dessert, The first meal was very good. The dessert excellent. The second meal not so good. Had a burger that was just OK. The wait staff in the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant a bit pricy for what we got. But that is to be expected because the hotel is in a very touristy location. The hotel location is spectacular, All in all I would recommend the hotel.

Had a good stay. Probably not as good as last time. Breakfast staff inconsistent. Lifts always slow and overcrowded. Unfortunately bathrooms need a bit of refurbishment. No minibar in our room. One light by bed not working. Will stay again if these things sorted.

The room was by the entrance to what we assume were staff quarters, & there was significant noise from staff entering & leaving the area - beeping card entry system & door banging. Otherwise the room was a bit small & the hand held shower attachment didn't work.

Check in was unnecasarily long. I was told I had two reservations under my name. It turned out to be just a coincidence with another guest with my name just happen to book on the same day as well as same check out. I spent over 45 minutes unnecessarily at the check in desk. The staff here don't seem to have a procedure in place should there be the same name under two reservations. On top of that, GDPR was a real concern here as I was given information about another booking that happens to be in my name but was not for me. At no point did the receptionist ask for ID to confirm my identity. Furthermore, the receptionist gave me personal information as well as confirmation number for a totally unrelated booking, breaching another guest personal information
