Room smelt stale and mouldy. Bathrooms need an upgrade and had black mould. Bed was broken in middle so dipped down. Good location but dont think we would stay again

Room was spacious and comfortable and bed very comfy too. Shower had good pressure and was a good temperature. Extra effort was made with the towels to pretty things up and there were ample sockets for charging, hair dryer etc. Staff were friendly. Would stay again.

Lovely clean modern room and very close to the main international, national and underground station (2 minute walk) but down a quiet street. The lovely gentleman at reception helped me with my bag as I was on floor one which didn’t require a lift. However is one for all the other levels. If I get back to London I will be staying again as it was also welll priced.

Location was exactly what we wanted but unfortunately the accommodation was disappointing. Access to rooms was difficult as even though there is a lift it seems to stop between floors and we still had many steps to negotiate. Room had a musty smell, floor was in poor condition and bed was not comfortable

The heating system wasn’t effective was cold all night had the heating on full all night still cold in the morning. Mattress dipped in the middle and could feel springs The curtain didn’t reach the floor so the light came through as is a floor up window. Room & bathroom was tired and in needed of attention. Wouldn’t return!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. If you’re looking for brilliant value close to King’s Cross(and you couldn’t get much closer) then this place is the boy. Stayed here about 4 times now and will do again. Hotel is a bit quirky but rooms are a decent size. 3 twin rooms available too which I like. Obviously don’t expect not to hear traffic noises on a morning(especially during the week).

The room was in great condition, the check-in was easy and the staff was very helpful. The noise level adjacent to our room, however, on Birkenhead Street, was extremely disruptive, early in the morning, from 6am to 8am. There are street sweepers, garbage trucks and delivery trucks right outside our window on the first floor. It is very loud, and the delivery trucks have metal ramps they lower to the street, then move supplies to unload, creating loud BOOMING sounds. I don't recommend staying at this property, unless you stay in an inside-facing room, not on the street. There are also homeless beggars nearby, who may solicit for handouts.
