Not five star, more like three star

Three star hotel not a five star at all. Tiny rooms, clean-ish but apart from a bottle of water and a biscuit (which I could get with a premier plus premier inn) it was no different, if not worse than a premier inn. One lift, took forever. Staff very unhelpful, air conditioning didn't work very well, and the breakfast was in no way five star at all - fruit that looked dehydrated, 4 cereals and the cheapest white and brown bread.

I dont usually post bad feedback but this stay was a bit of a mess. When checking in I was told it was full and asked if I could share a room with a member of my team - not a good start. I was then put in a room in the basement which was by no means a Deluxe room that I booked. I appreciate issued happen and the team were trying to give me the best option but I was disappointed at this stay. In positive news, the Indian food smelled incredible. I did not eat there but judging by the queue I would imagine the food was very good!

The property is in a great area of London its a 1/2 block from Paddington train station and 3 subway lines, including the newest QE line to Heathrow. There are lots of restaurants and pubs in the vicinity There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel

Beware if you leave your luggage with the front desk!!! I had an early flight and arrived at the hotel around 8am. Room wasn't ready ao hotel front desk offered to keep our luggage for a few hours while we explored the city awaiting our room to be clean. We accepted the offer and left a small suitcase as well as a backpack. I only stayed one overnight so I didn't realize until after I was back home that my bluetooth ear buds are missing from my backpack! I'm now back in the US with no recourse or way to rectify the stolen property. I guess next time I will think twice about leaving my luggage with hotel front desks.

The hotel is located in a nice area we felt safe there. The room was nice and bathroom also. The negatives for me were a noisy room. There was an air con unit right outside our window which was noisy and prevented a good nights sleep and I also think the breakfast could have more variety.
