I’ve stayed at this property many times in the past and have always enjoyed my visits, but unfortunately, this stay fell far below the standards I’ve come to expect. When I got to my room, it was absolutely freezing — almost as cold as outside. I tried to call reception from the room phone, but it wasn’t working. I ended up having to go downstairs in person to report the issue, which completely disrupted my evening. I encountered a maintenance staff member in the hallway, who agreed to check the thermostat. He was surprised at how cold the room was and tried to fix the issue but ultimately advised me to go back downstairs to report it. A portable heater was then brought up, which I appreciated, but it was not powerful enough to warm the room and has made little difference to the temperature. I had  to stay wrapped in blankets and my dressing gown with the hood up just to keep warm. Even my nose and hands were cold — it was genuinely uncomfortable. To make things worse, there was barely any toilet paper (around one-fifth of a roll), and because the phone wasn’t working, I couldn’t even call down to request more. It also seemed like this room might not be used often — even the TV was switched off at the mains. This experience really spoiled what should have been a relaxing stay. I emailed management whilst at the property to complain and they never replied or came to my room to resolve the issue. I’ve also contacted customer service, who have not resolved my issue

The room was small - enough room for me to just squeeze my average sized body between the bed and the wardrobe, but tbh as I was one person, it didn’t matter that much. Breakfast was lovely with fresh pancakes and perfect pastries. Service was excellent. It’s a busy hotel but they pull all staff so you don’t queue for more than a couple of minutes.

The location is perfect if you want to explore London and are okay with using the Underground. The hotel is in a mainly residential neighborhood with great restaurants nearby. Also getting the breakfast option is well worth it

Staff wasn’t very helpful. Restroom shower has no shower doors that you gave to wipe tje floor every time you use it. Sink has a big crack. No hooks for coats. Not IHG i know. Did not Honor my Silver Membership just because i booked it via third party. The other IHG we booked on yjos Trip was totally excellent but not this one. And we always stay IHG around the world. This is the worst.

Staff is very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Reception area is clean and nice. But the rooms are tired and worn: the curtains are partially off the curtain track, the shower is old and mildewy, the lighting is beyond dreadful, the bathroom door doesn’t actually close, and even the trash can was sad. The rooms need “sprucing” up
