Booked for valentines long weekend as a family member was getting married (Friday-Monday) due to the facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc) firstly the room was small. Shower sprayed water out all over the floor so we had to use extra towels to soak up the water. We had forgotten toothpaste but were told reception have spare toiletries incase you forget anything so when we asked them we were told to come back in the morning as he didn't have any. When we returned in the morning we found a vending machine which charged us £3 for a one use toothpaste tube and when my partner asked the guy at reception about it he told him it was nothing to do with them and it was an outside company (still didn't give us any extra toothpaste) Went to the pool in the morning for a swim and half of it was closed off for swimming lessons which wasn't advertised. Jacuzzi was out of order (also wasn't notified previous to stay) so everyone was squished into one half of the pool where people were trying to do lengths so not relaxing at all. The saunas were in the changing rooms as well and not near the pool which was another let down. When we contacted the hotel for a partial refund as we were really disappointed in the facilities that we thought we were getting and didn't. The hotel refused any type of refund they did eventually offer to change our room but we had to be at the wedding and didn't have time at that point. Definitely won't be staying again

The best part of the hotel was the pool- although it was crowded no matter the time of day. The standard rooms are extremely small and not just by American standards! By Parisian and London standards too! There is no TV offering for small kids (no CBeebies! No access to Netflix! Can’t even purchase a Disney movie!) and everyone I interacted with in room service was inefficient or rude.

We are very happy with the service we received from this hotel and the staff. Georgina at the reception was very helpful in particular. Our room was lovely and comfortable with good facilities. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in London, as the hotel is located in a very central area of Kensington with easy access to transport facilities.

Very clean and comfortable, lovely communally areas , the room was quiet small with some large unnecessary furniture like the over large side table that really had no function other than to clutter the small space not sure the chaise was really necessary a couple of chairs would give more space but it’s the only fault and not a major one . Great staff all very polite professional and helpful. Would definitely stay again .

Room was very small, which may be common by London standards. Staff overall was dismissive or seemed overwhelmed, with one exception who provided excellent customer service. When our room was serviced, things were forgotten, such as toilet paper, towel, towels, etc..

We booked this hotel specifically because it had a hot tub and a steam room and both were out of service. They were understaffed for the 3pm check in rush. Synthetic pillows were very lumpy. The breakfast buffet was decent, but with such a wealth of amazing options on the doorstep, not worth the £. Saving grace was the kind staff, the size of the room, and the location.

Room was small but ok for what we needed. Food was poor in the breakfast room. Housekeeping did not come on 2nd to last day despite the tag on the door, asked at reception when we went out but they just put towels inside the door. Great location as tube was a 2 minute walk away.
