Wonderful hotel. Great location, nice staff, lovely decorated rooms. Bed was comfy. Our room had a plumbing issue and the staff addressed it right away. Will return in the future.

Family luxury room spacious, very high sealings and beautifuly done. No view from our window but it didn't really matter - as it also meant sheltered from the outside noise. The one thig to know, speaking of noise, the building is old so we heard all noises in the room above - from walking to flushing but was not for long periods and comes with the old buildings. Also the ventilation system can be noisy. Good location, very nice Christmas decorations. Cleaning and toiletries impecable. Can't say much about the staff as we interacted very little. No complaints non wow either.

Breakfast was buffet only, no option for anything cooked to order such as an omelette, not asking for much for a hotel that is this price bracket. Service felt a bit chaotic while the dinning room was at capacity, some requests for extra drinks and sauce were slow to arrive.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The location is phenomenal- 5 minutes walk to the Natural History Museum and the V&A, a few more to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and about 20 steps from Gloucester Rd tube which is on the Piccadilly line for easy access to and from Heathrow. Great selection of food all around it. The hotel itself is beautiful and the well maintained despite the old building. Front desk staff and concierge were all super sweet and helpful. We were too busy touristing to eat there but it looked very popular and smelled great. I would definitely recommend it. We got a family room, it was a little small and the single bed turned out just to be a cot they had brought in to a queen room, so it was a bit squished but we enjoyed our stay none the less.

The location is perfect! Literally across the street from tube station. Convenient markets and restaurants are right there! I’ve used this hotel multiple times and something was “off” about this trip. Although, I made a mistake with dates by one day and Ned to extend my trip, I found the hotel desk staff somewhat difficult and not helpful. I would go as far as saying somewhat aggressive in wanting me to check my personal email in front of them so that they could ensure I signed up for their Millennium Rewards Account. It was all very odd. Although it is an ideal location, I’m likely to look at other options next trip. Maybe they have new staff or management.
