Perfect location

Underground station and bus stops just outside the door, groceries and shops for any necessities on the block. Hotel restaurant is good, breakfast buffet not so much. Several pubs and restaurants near, the Hereford our favorite. Colorful doorman Gary was an invaluable source of information about everything, added much to our trip experience.

Christmas Holiday in London

Pros: The location and the charm.
Cons: Na
Location: Museums and Harrods were within easy walking distance. Kensington Palace was also nearby.
Loved The Bailey's Hotel! It is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to museums and Harrods, and tube stop across the street with access to 3 lines. The room was comfortable and clean, even came with complimentary water daily! The Full English breakfast was delicious, and the staff was always willing to help. I would definitely stay here again!

Single rooms are just fine

Pros: Location and amenities and breakfast and wifi and elegant ambiance
Cons: Elevators are small and break down.
Location: Super location right across from Gloucester Road underground station. Lots of ATM's around and a 24 hour Tesco Express across the street too.
Our group had several single rooms here during a hot spell and were super pleased with the self-controlled air conditioning in each room. All the rooms are slightly different and the beds were bigger than we thought.....more like a full or double bed. The rooms had all the amenities and the reservation came with free wifi and breakfast. We loved the clean crisp sheets and refrigerators and modern bathrooms......though some of the new bathrooms have a sink that's way too small. Be sure to check out your room before moving in and ask for another if available if you don't like it. The rooms on the upper floors were very quiet though there was some creaky flooring from the upstairs guests......but not enough to keep anyone awake.

Outstanding!

Outstanding location, rooms, and staff! The hotel is right across the street from the Gloucester tube station, money exchange, florist, grocer, pharmacy and eateries of your choice. You can walk to the Natural Science Museum, rent bikes for St. James Park , walk to Kensington Palace. The staff in Olives was amazing! Domenic and Kristina greeted us each morning with a smile and went out of their ways to help. We were a party of 9 with 5 children and they did all they could do make us comfortable. The front desk is pleasant! Newman came right up when we had wifi problems and solved it immediately. Clean, large rooms!

Great experience, convenient location

Super hotel experience with an authentic older style London hotel. Very attentive staff with nice accommodations. You can't get more convenient to a tube station (Glouster Road) with a bonus of restaurants and grocery store options just across the street. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality for the price

Pros: Close restaurants, location
They made me feel welcome and even allowed me to check-in early after I arrived from an overnight flight from the States. It was great to find an iron and ironing board in the room - business traveler friendly. Excellent full English breakfast and amazing location in central London.

Great hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Location can't be beat - across the street from the Gloucester Rd tube station which goes right to Heathrow. Room was large by London standards and very clean, with a "real" double bed. The hotel bar is very cool. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Great price, location and the room was much more spacious than anticipated.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London. The location is great as the hotel is situated at the Glouster Road tube station on the Picadilly Line which is also the line directly from Heathrow Airport. Nearby sites include Victoria and Albert, Natural History museum and if you like walking, Knightsbridge is about a 25 minute walk, Picadilly Square 45 minutes. Or you can simply hop on the tube. Busy location with restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy - but quiet at night. Would definitely stay again.
