Excellent Stay – Perfect Location for First-Time Visitors! We recently stayed at this hotel during our first trip to London, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The location was absolutely ideal—just steps away from the Gloucester Road Underground station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy and convenient. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We were also impressed with the dining options around the hotel. There were plenty of great choices, from casual bites to more refined meals, all just a short walk away. What really stood out was how perfectly situated the hotel was for exploring London. Whether we were heading to museums, historic landmarks, or popular shopping areas, everything felt easily accessible. We genuinely couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first visit to London. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located hotel!

Property lovely. Clean bathrooms. Fresh bed linens. Did have to call for coffee pods 4 days of the 7 day stay. Also had to call for bath towels. These items were not left by the daily room attendant. The staff that brought the requested items were very gracious and apologetic. I would stay there again.

The only issue I had during my entire stay was a bit of confusion at the beginning when I asked for a phone pillow and a light blanket I was brought down pillow first and then I had to ask again to get a phone pillow. I got a light blanket and then when I asked for a second light blanket, I was never able to get one even after asking three or four times it turned out OK but I wish I’d had that second blanket. I’ll stay at the Baileys again.

I have used this hotel very regularly for leisure stay watching cricket in london -major plus is convenience as its next to gloucester road tube station on picadilly line from heathrow -45 minutes trip on excellent frequency for around £6-so very easy to get to Lords and Oval . Rooms are sometimes on smsmall side -this time was a bit bigger and did not need extension lead for cppap machine as bed was well placed -in some rooms its quite awkward and it has been a bit of a battle to get extension lead !(they eventually bought one !! Bar is buzzy but sometimes wine/water is not srved well enough chilled -service can be a bit amateurish -maybe need more hands on management? Rooms are always very clean including bathrooms but can be very tight -cosy is what they call some singles!- Overall ratings for this stay would be higher but for complete failure to provide decent television service -this time it repeatedly froze for seconds /longer so you could not really watch -complained from day 1 -maybe its the set in room -told every time engineer said not happening -asked if it was set or maybe general fault in system -engineers couldn't fix -but final straw on 4th day was that tv would not work at all -reported and it seemed they thought I was making up -checked out day early and went elsewhere as wanted to watch Wimbledon final Lost price of last day as boking non refundable -I would probably cancel last 2 bookings I have this year but cannot lose more money !
