The hotel is perfect for a visit to London. it is central, with an underground station within a short distance as well as buses. The room was clean, replenished with fresh towels etc. Breakfast choices were excellent. The only slight problem was the TV didn't work for our two night stay despite reporting to various staff. It didn't detract from our stay because we were busy but it would have been nice to catch up on the morning news. Overall I would stay there on future occasions.

So , do not stay in room 7259 there is extreme mold, that left me feeling dizzy after leaving the room. I would rank the hotel lower but Brandon was very helpful and was the only reason this is getting 3 stars. The location and included breakfast was very convenient. This hotel seems to be a converted nursing home. Location and Brandon -5 stars but the mold is just not acceptable.

Great location!

I have stayed here maybe 4 or 5 times now, the hotel is quite basic especially if you’re not in a plus room but it is good value for money, staff are friendly and the location is excellent. Very close to Russell Square tube station as well as a number of eateries.

Basic but clean rooms. I appreciate how they have openable windows. I can’t stand turning up to a hotel room and finding the windows don’t open. There was a bad drains smell coming from the bathroom. Hotel was very busy with long queues for breakfast so I didn’t bother. Overall not a bad stay but what you get is basic when you’re paying almost £200 a night.

Very basic Ibis style interior fur the room. Breakfast is a farce! Long queues to book in. They start to make excuses with signage about the 08:00 rush on check-in. Balshy service at breakfast. Food was ok though st breakfast.

The room felt sparse, with furnishings limited to a small round table and a single chair, no luggage stand and no mini fridge provided, which was disappointing for this price range. Housekeeping began knocking loudly on the door as early as 7 am, including on checkout day. When I declined service, staff were abrupt and insisted I post a “do not disturb” sign, though I hadn’t expected housekeeping so early and assumed it wouldn’t be necessary. The location is the only redeeming feature; however, for rates over £200 per night, I truly expected a more comfortable and better-equipped experience.

The staff was very friendly and responsive to our requests upon arrival, since they quickly were able to move us into a room with a walk-in shower and add a roll away bed to accommodate three adult guests comfortably.
