The rooms were small and oddly designed. When you walked into the room, you either step up or step down depending on the floor. The bathrooms were tidy. If you have tbe bath tub, most lightly, the water would spread on to the floor. The pictures were misleading. I am not sure why other people had given it high rating. We had 4 rooms and they were all bad.

Tiny room with barely enough room for the small double bed- certainly not king size. Made worse by the base being 6 inches wider than the mattress. Sheets were not changed every day. Reading wall light falling off the wall. Bathroom fan not working.

Small rooms, but decent stay.

It wasn’t necessarily a bad stay, but while we were here, we noticed that the room was very tiny, it was barely wide enough to roll our carryon suitcases in front of our beds. While we were sleeping an alarm went off in the room, and there was some loud noises in the early hours of the morning like some sort of machines or tools that woke us up.

We booked a club room looked nothing like in the pictures there was barely room to pass in the room and the bar service was a joke, the first hotel in 66 years that do not have tonic for G&T or any lager in bottles

It’s definitely an illusion! The common areas nice well kept! The ROOMS, disgusting!!!!!!! Horrible so bag I slept in my clothes on top of the sheets in my airplane blanket. You know the ones you get for free in upper class. Yeah. And this is AFTER they switched me rooms. Keep in mind I deal with Day porters in my day to day life for a corporate office. So I know that those rooms NEVER BEEN cleaned! I walked into room one and it smelled like mold and had a GIANT FLY INSIDE! The second room was given by the manager personally poop looking stains on carpet. Each light post has thick layer of dust the mirrors dusty. My back broke out in hives. Horrible DO NOT STAY HERE! They offered me breakfast for free but if the rooms are like this I CAN IMAGINE HOW HORRIBLE THE KITCHEN IS. Didn’t eat nothing there. Waste of money. It’s sad I really love London.

Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Shower could use a shower curtain to help the water not get everywhere in the bathroom. Fridge wasn’t plugged in and there was no adapter but the staff were able to fix it after a day or so. Windows do not open so room was a little stuffy at times. Beautiful building.

Staff were very helpful and the building full of character and history. Unfortunately the rooms really lets the place down and were very small, the photos led us to believe that a deluxe room would be deluxe. The mattress was very cheap and you could feel the springs. Breakfast was ok, but very budget, with squash instead of orange juice.

Bonne location. La climatisation ne fonctionne pas , j’ai demandé l’aide à la réception, un employé est venu constater et il m’a dit qu’il allait revenir. 2 jours plus tard je n’avais pas eu de nouvelle. J’ai du demander à la réception un ventilateur tellement il faisait chaud dans la chambre. Les fenêtres n’ouvrent presque pas pour laisser entrer l’air. Il est très difficile de prendre une douche sans envoyer de l’eau partout dans la salle de bain. Un 3 étoiles pour nous

WAY over rated.

Check-in was particularly painful - asking for my first name, then saying i didn't have a reservation, even though I'd already been to reception earlier and gave all my details on my pre-booked and paid room. Advertising the room as 'Deluxe' is a BIG stretch of the imagination. Couldn't swing a mouse! The window (ha) was so tiny you couldn't even open/see out of it. The lack of shower curtain/screen meant the whole (tiny) bathroom got soaked. Appalling for the price paid.
