The Copthorne Tara Hotel, has such a welcoming group of people working in to help the guests in general. The facility is somewhat updated but the atmosphere isn’t bad at all. I will certainly book again. I felt safe and relaxed.

The hotel was fine. For the price you pay and the location it’s decent value for money. But as others have said in reviews, the rooms are tired. Two of our lights didn’t work at all, and the whole room set went down at some point which had to be reset. Little touches like having a bedside table lamp wouldn’t have gone amiss. Tv channels pretty minimal. Shower was nice and hot and bed was pretty comfortable. We could hear the tube rumbling every time it went past. And it was definitely not a city view ! Staff on reception very nice and helpful. Location was good for Kensington high street and tube which made a difference at the end of a long walking day in London.

Allergy to dust

Staff are great. Room looks clean but the mattress and pillows are dusty. I couldn't breathe. I had to keep going into the bathroom to clear my sinuses so I could try to sleep but as soon as I lay down the problem returned

We booked 2 rooms for our group and we requested them beside each other which was honoured and much appreciated. The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet area very close the public transport links. Ideal for easy access for day sight seeing. Rooms were a decent size and very clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had many options. We didnt eat lunch or dinner as we were out most of the day. Would definitely return.

I like the area where the hotel was, it was nice close to Kensington park and lots of shops and eatery’s. the hotel lobby is well presented unfortunately our room didn’t meet this standard being when we got there our toilet wouldn’t flushed kept running which was noisey and took a lot of communications back and fourth to finally get somebody to fix it. We stayed for two nights and didn’t get fixed till the afternoon of the second night. Other wise apart from mouldy ceilings in the bathroom and thick silicon everywhere (fast fix on the wear and tear) it was ok.

The hotel was clean and beds was comfortable. The staff at the hotel was professional and pleasant. I was with a teenager girl and a 9 years old girl and they both enjoyed breakfast as it was delicious usually very fussy. This is a good hotel and the staff will do anything to please you. There wasn’t that much place to park and the parking cost £31 for 24hrs which is cheaper compared to other parking nearby. Due to the location of my hotel room the noise of the metro was horrendous but because I was only there for 48 hrs I didn’t want to upgrade. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and we felt safe. Will be booking again

Room lacked outlets with only one on one side of a 2 bed room. Room was not up to date. No air conditioning at all. Asked them to flook at it and they said they would and they did not. Pillows were thin and lumpy, asked for etxra and they did not bring any Halls smelled of mildew and musty which seeped into room. Effort was great to make hotel look nice in lobby but my guest room was awful

For over 100 quid a night ive had better rooms, room M7 on the Mezzanine floor overlooked the trainline, no AC, and small double with uncomfy pillows but for 2 nights its ok. The bar closing at 10 is a bit crap, however it was quite cold and having baseball on tv wasnt really interesting

Clean, comfortable, good value for money. From the outside hotel looks a bit shabby, but inside was fine. Only negative feedback was the buffet full English was more or less cold, but lots of other alternatives to eat instead
