Large, beautiful property in an excellent location!
This property worked out perfectly for our family group. We needed a home that could accommodate 14 people across 3 generations comfortably and this property definitely addressed our needs. The home is huge, very well laid out, and well appointed. It was very clean and functional. It had a nice homey feel and wasn't cluttered with the owner's things. Some specifics:• There are a LOT of spacious bedrooms. Most have en-suite bathrooms, which is great.• The main level is well laid out and has lots of space for a large group. •The dining room is perfect for both meals and other activities (we are big into board games and playing cards and the large dining room table was perfect).• Even though it was very cold during our stay, the house stayed a pleasant temperature. It was warm and cozy the entire time and we never needed to adjust the thermostat.• The kitchen was modern, clean, and also very well laid out. The fridge/freezer was large enough for all the food we brought (12 pints of ice cream too!) It was also easy to keep clean between meals. Oh, and the floor in the kitchen is heated (a highlight of the stay)!• The “mud room” / coat room was a great way to keep everyone’s shoes, coats, hats, etc. out of the main spaces.• The location is great. It is close to a variety of grocery stores, a few bagel places, and the Mamaroneck MTA train station.We were very happy with this rental. We were between a few options for this trip, and we feel we made the perfect choice!
