On the evening of July 7, 2022, I went to the hotel restaurant on the 6 floor for dinner. I asked the young man behind the bar if I could sit at a table for dinner and was told by him that they didn’t have any available tables at the moment. I asked if I could sit at one of the empty tables near the bar. The young man allowed me to sit at the table and he put a menu on the table and walked away. I watched the two young Caucasian women who were servers walk pass me several times and even stand a few feet from my table without once speaking to me. They kept looking at me and stood in front of me with their backs to me whispering to each other. The man behind the bar stood and conversed with the two women and not one of them offered to take my order or even bring a glass a water to my table. I watched a non-black family of three enter the restaurant several minutes after me and the waitress went to them and took their orders. I waited to see if they would ever come to take my order and I finally left after seeing the waitress bring that family their oder. I had waited about 40 minutes before left. There is absolutely no doubt that this is racism and these staff members should be properly reprimanded if not terminated. This is a restaurant where the staff are supposed to serve customers and if the staff have personal feelings about certain customers which prevents them from doing their job, they should not be in the customer service field.

Hotel was very good . Staff very polite and helpful. There is only one lift and it is a long walk from the lift to the room . There should be one more lift in the middle of all the rooms. But overall our stay was very good.
