"I was pleasantly impressed with the room size and layout of the room. Room was clean and pools were clean as well. Only thing I was bummed with was 2 of the pools and 2 hot tubs were drained and not in use during our trip. It appeared they where doing maintenance on them but that should have been done during the winter season and not during peak summer time."

"Unfortunately this was the worst place I have ever booked, yes it was cheap for a last minute get away and yes I read the reviews before paying, however I’m pretty certain all negative reviews are deleted or fake reviews are given. Upon a late arrival (10pm), there was a sign on door to call a number for check in (no front desk staff to check-in “after hours”. The maintenance guy came out to greet us (he was nice). We checked in he gave us our keys (any actual key). He explained pool hours said pool is closed right now, but it’s “not locked” “no lights”, that’s why can’t swim (red flag 1). He brought us to elevator, it opened and it’s falling apart inside floors peeled along with sides (red flag2). We get to our room, walk in lighting is SUPER dim, had a moisture scent, we turned to lock door behind us, NO DEADBOLT or some type of secondary lock (red flag 3). We finally find a lamp that works for more lighting. My friend immediately finds 2 small black bugs on one bed, I searched the other bed and find 3 bugs (red flag 4) I check the bathroom, and find dirty underwater hanging from behind bathroom door. We immediately start searching for another place to stay. While searching, ROACHES were crawling out from every dark spot. Some crawling on head boards, under the beds, and the air vents! We called maintenance guy and said we were checking within 10min of being there. He said “I don’t blame you, they lied with the room pictures” “You need to ask for your money back”."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Holly’s Haven! The home was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly spacious. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved how convenient the walk to the beach was. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Carpet was dirty and had several cigarette burns. Door to patio had broken lock (only bent aluminum bar). Freezer melted all over what we had put in fridge. Shower curtain was installed too high so water sprayed outside. Did like that the two queen beds were separated by bathroom/kitchen and each had its own TV and dresser. Breakfast was very good and beach/ocean view was awesome. "

"We booked our stay through Expedia. Our conformation info stated that we would get our check in info and codes 24 hours before our check in time. Before departing for the beach approximately 400 miles, it was past the 24 hour check in time and I still hadn't received any codes. I was on the phone for around five hours. The host couldn't find my reservation. They told me to call Expedia. Expedia told everything was good on their end and they had contacted the host and I needed to call them back. I called back and the host still was unable to find my reservation. Once I was told by the host that they didn't manage that resort and I would need to call another host. After I called this other host I was on the phone a long time. The operator was determined to help me. Finally she determined that they didn't manage any properties in South Carolina. I went back to the first host. She finally located my reservation. She assured me that the codes for the room would be available before check in time. We left early the next morning for a South Carolina. We got there a few minutes prior to check in. Still no codes were sent to my phone. I called the host and she stated that I couldn't check in prior to 4pm so there was no need to give me the code early. After getting the code for our room, we decided to check the code on the door to get to the elevator. It didn't work. Someone came by and let us in. We took the elevator to our floor. The code worked for our room."
