"The location of the hotel was great. The room we had on the 19th floor was very quiet, but a little smaller than your average room. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. After a long day of walking, it was a great place to go. The staff was very friendly and we felt safe there."

"The front desk person was not very welcoming and kind of understaffed. Shower shower spray and shower were working together we couldn’t switch from shower to spray. The tub water were going very slowly. They didn’t check and inspect the room. We checked in late and too tired to call for house maintenance. The door man and other staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a 2-1/2 star hotel. Definitely not going back"

"The room itself was clean and spacious, which I appreciated. However, overall I would not stay here again. The experience felt more like a hostel than a hotel. The elevators were noticeably dirty, there was excessive noise throughout the stay, and the receptionist was quite rude. That said, the staff at the front entrance were very helpful and kind, which was one positive part of the experience. Overall, it was a bittersweet stay, but unfortunately not one I would recommend."

"I stay here a lot because of proximity to Penn Station and generally good prices. On this stay the prices jumped up 3x mid stay. The property itself, while having a classic grand and very buzzy/crowded lobby, has a rundown feel in the room area. The hall carpets are worn and taped, the rooms cramped and old-feeling. No room fridge or coffee maker, tiny closet and substandard plumbing that's noisy at night and with very erratic water temperature. In a neighborhood that's both mobbed with tourists and full of aggressive homeless."
