I'm going to believe that the front desk employee that greeted me was unknowledgeable. My gripe upon arrival was why was the full amount of my one night stay taken from my account two hours b4 check in. I have booked hotels in & out of the county many times so I am well aware of the protocol but what I clearly never paid attention to was the difference between using a debit vs a credit card. Your employee was VERY rude & dismissive regarding my complaint of the missing money from my account before check in whereas had she explained to me the difference between making a debit vs credit card reservation the exchange between the two of us would have been much more pleasant (I had to do my own research to understand). While I do take accountability for the lack of my knowledge your staff should also be more knowledgeable AND professional when dealing with their guests.

The air conditioner was very loud. Front desk staff moved us to another room. The air conditioner was quiet and fine. I do have a back injury and the bed was about 80% of what I like. The front desk staff were very responsive whenever I asked for anything. They held our bags for us all day when we went out to NYC and came back at 530pm to grab the bags and go to the train. The area outside the hotel is similar to many areas in NYC, there were homeless in close proximity, though not at the doorway. There was a lot of traffic on the street, so Uber had to let us out on the other side of the street. We were able to walk to and from the train station - it was about 5 minutes.

Overall great. The toilet was hard to flush because the water seal was so good but otherwise no problems. Didn’t spend much time in the room since we were there to do things in the city. If you have a larger family the room may be a little on the small side if you spend much time in it but for us it was fine.
