This hotel is very convenient to many activities, hospitals and dining options. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful and the check in process was quick and smooth. The reason for the lower rating was the condition of the room was quite surprising especially given the number of very positive reviews. The smoke detector was stuffed with toilet paper, not sure why or why no one noticed this, the two bedside lamps were missing lightbulbs and a small of reading light was bent up inside so there was minimal light in the bedroom area, the caulking around the tub was crumbling on the floor and the elevators seemed to be struggling to get to the upper floors. I did bring the smoke detector and lightbulbs to the attention of the front desk staff and am Assuming these were corrected after we checked out.

Only one person working the desk made for a long check-in wait Only one elevator was working when we arrived. They were all broken when we left so we carried luggage down the stairs Room was clean and comfortable. Towels older but good Overall good value for the area

The guy at the front was courteous and helpful. The room was nice and appeared clean and tidy but there were some nail clippings, food, dirt, etc., behind the nightstand that I could easily see (if i can see, so can the cleaner...) when inspecting for bedbugs. I make it a habit of checking the bedding and furniture for critters before settling in because I have had a previous bad experience. I immediately found evidence of bed bugs on both beds. One had newer eggs under/behind the pillow and the other under the bed skirt. It APPEARED to be an early infestation, due to the bug stage and lack of stains on the actual mattress. As we were pulling the skirting back to get a better look at an egg, we disturbed it and a bug that ran up the side of the mattress. We immediately left, alerted the front desk agent, who immediately contacted management. Hopefully they care enough to handle it, so as not to spread them to others. The agent was courteous, understanding, and helpful in getting our room refunded. I am sure all hotels deal with this and overall, the agent was a 5, appearance was a 5 and the refund process with Hotels.com was smooth. I just hope it gets resolved. You have to stay on top of that. My only regret is not killing the bug for them because they can be hard to locate and bring out of hiding. We were lucky enough to get a pic because it was slow and obviously hadn't eaten much lately. It won't let me upload the video. Hate to bad review but had to mention it!

This was a very nice place. The room was very quiet & the bed was comfortable. It was exactly as pictured in the photos. The lemon water in the lobby was refreshing.I definitely recommend this hotel & plan on staying here again.
