Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful hotel with great bar that offers great drinks and a rich history. The only two complaints I have is we always would receive two complimentary drink tickets with our stay which now they have gone away from and the $50 to valet park for 1 night.

We stayed at The Menger Hotel Excellent location, beautiful hotel, nice rooms. The hotel has a beautiful bar, restaurants, very helpful, kind staff. River Center Mall is steps away with a starbucks if you’re looking for a coffee or tea. There are a lot of stores and Several dining places. Then the Riverwalk is a staircase away! If you prefer, you can go out of the Lobby doors to the Alamo Plaza! The Alamo is to your right, and if you go to your left to the street, then right, past the McDonalds, go down the stairs- you’ll be at the Riverwalk!
