A great stay! The house was clean and matched the description provided. Check-in/out was very easy. The location was great, and even though there are a lot of homes on the street, we didn’t hear any street noise in the house. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of seating in the living area and at the kitchen table. Communication with the host was limited (just check-in instructions and notification when we left the house for the last time), but all communication was timely and very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves back in that area of San Antonio.

Kathy is the nicest ever. We arrived and the sliding door was open. Being a female in an unfamiliar place it made me nervous. I called her and she answered the phone. Then, she walked me through how to secure the doors and found out the cleaners had left it open. The home is in such a quiet neighborhood. We never felt uncomfortable after we got the door figured out. The garage would not fit our car so we parked in front of the house. Would certainly stay at any of her properties if back in the area.

Grandparents/ Girl cousin weekend - SeaWorld

Nice stay for Grandparents meeting up for the 3 granddaughters to have a long distance playdate at SeaWorld. Property looks a lot better on the inside than the front side. The windows needed cleaning looking out to patio and front door area. The patio could have used some trimming - definitely overgrown. But we enjoyed our stay. Oh, check GPS directions. It lead us to the back of the property which butts up to the apartments. Not so nice first impression but we had enough sense to go around to the front. And the agent was very helpful when the initial door code didn’t work. Overall, well done. Everything we needed. Would

Wonderful, comfortable stay!

We traveled to San Antonio for the wedding of our son. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! My sister and our son (best man) stayed at the home. Everyone could stretch out comfortably. After the event, the newlyweds stopped by for coffee. We sat around the big table and chatted. Just a GREAT time!

San Antonio Visit

We loved our stay at your lovely home! It has such a welcoming vibe, and is beautifully decorated! The kitchen was very well stocked! The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable. The deck and yard were great for enjoying the beautiful fall weather. It was conveniently located to downtown Sand Antonio where we did a lot of sightseeing! We definitely plan on staying there again on our next visit! It was a wonderful experience! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great for military families!

Very nice, clean place with everything you need. Super close to everything, 15 mins from most tourist attractions. Owner is super friendly and accommodating, especially if you’re here as a fellow military family. Would highly recommend!

misleading description

Within the first few hours of check-in we found one toilet to be backing up, were afraid that it would overflow. Called Kathy and she brought in help to take care of it. We also found dead cockroaches and flies in the pantry and in the bathroom. We were pretty grossed out, so cleaned everything and used disinfecting wipes as well. There were dust bunnies in the closet so clearly the home had not been cleaned in a while. The first few days of our stay we met Kathy few times(for various issues), so did not call her again to take clear of the cockroaches and the dirt. We wanted to spend TG together (2 families) and just be done with our stay. We are terribly miffed that we pay a cleaning fee plus get started on putting the bed linen etc in the laundry before we leave, but we got a dirty home to stay in. We can disregard small issues but this unhygienic and dirty home during these pandemic times is hard to ignore. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good family location for San Antonio vacation.

First, Kathy was great to work with and ease to contact. The home was clean and its central location was ideal ( around 7 miles to six flags/sea world/downtown), and having Super WalMart/HEB, restaurants, gas station in walking distance made it super convenient.for my family.

Great Location

If traveling from out of town and will be needing access to the medical hub in San Antonio, this is a great place. Centrally located between the medical campus and great restaurants. Spent almost two weeks here prepping for and recouping from surgery. Easy, easy, easy. We will be back!

Very clean, updated home!!!

The location of this house was perfect for our trip. It was about 15-20 minutes away from Sea World, Fiesta Texas and the River Walk. The only reason for the 3 star location rating is because there are apartments located right behind the house. The house is located in an older neighborhood, but it has been completely updated and nicely done. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well furnished. The owner of the property was extremely nice and easy to contact. I would stay here again.

Beautiful home in San Antonio

We loved the home on Honey Hill (the Red one). Our communication with Kathy was great. You could tell she has put a lot of personal touches and thought in the home. Actually most if not all the paintings in the home, she did herself. My sister loved the paintings. Everything in the home was clean and the beds most comfortable. The check in and out process went smoothly. We enjoyed San Antonio and visited most of the local sights such as the Alamo, the River Walk, the wonderful Spanish missions, the Mercado (market) and if you go on a Saturday there are free music performances ( including singers outside and Spanish style dancing indoors which is quite a show). We also managed to go to New Braunfels and the Gruene hx district nearby. We had a great time in San Antonio and would highly recommend anyone to stay in this lovely home. Great place for BMT graduation

This house was the perfect place for our family to spend time together during my daughters BMT graduation. The location was within a 15 minute drive, the house was clean & there was plenty of room for everyone. House has all the amenities you would want and if you forgot anything it’s within a 5 minute drive to Walmart, Sams, etc. Highly recommend. Property manager was very easy to reach.

Clean! Comfortable and Accommodating!

January 8 through January 12, 2020, three couples from Pennsylvania stayed at this vacation by owner home. Owner “Kathy” was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The house over all is lovely, clean, perfect for a family of six, close to the airport, not too far away from the Riverwalk and the Alamo. The neighborhood is safe and is perfect if someone wants to go for a morning walk . First time we rented with vacation by owner and I we will definitely use there services again. Thank you and have a fun time in Texas.

Great for our family

The property was clean, plenty of room for our group of 6. Master bathroom shower is awkward, but not a deal breaker. Master bed is very firm, so if you prefer a softer mattress it may not be a good fit. Overall great for our stay!
