Bugs in the place

The property was fine, location fine, very clean. Bugs came in every day. It was reported to the property manager's daughter. She stated that a tree had been cut down, causing the bugs Two notifications were sent to the property manager. He did not respond. Nothing was done about the bugs.

Not at all what we expected

First off your in the hood (the third ward is what it’s called). When you first arrive the fact you can’t park inside the gate of the apartments or in the garage of the apartment was totally strange to me. Especially since there was already a parked car inside the garage. So after lugging all of our luggage in the house from the street we get into the house and it’s filthy. It was like someone lives there and jus leaves right before someone comes. It was dirty dishes left in the sink and dish washer. Spoiled food in the fridge. Spilled sticky stuff all the floor. Pet hair on the couch. Bathroom tub had bugs in it. Bathroom sinks not clean. Now clean linen, no toilet paper. I mean we had to take our own money and buy cleaning supplies jus so we could take a shower. Then the owners excuse was there was a power outage so the cleaning lady couldn’t see everything to clean. We had to wait a whole day before he had someone come out and clean the apartment, but once it was throughly cleaned everything else was ok. So besides someone basically living there and the mess we walked into and the owner feeling like we don’t deserve some type of refund everything else was ok. I would give this place a 2 out of 5 rating.

The place was as described. Lovely!! Great location. Safe.

Use of the garage was listed in the description. It was in use and we were told by the contact person that it was not included. Change this. Otherwise it is a great place to stay. Very clean. Very safe. Loved the roof top.
