Room was cleaned, but hotel is not being taken care of properly. There were dirt stains in carpet , and a big crack in my sink in my room . In the front of the hotel there were piles of trash and homeless people hanging around. In addition, the furniture in room is old and outdated. For the price I paid, I was unhappy with how the hotel looked . I would have booked else where with my family . It just did not give me the luxury experience I was looking for . I wouldn’t go back to this particular location. Three stars

I hated that I had to pay $52 for parking $32 for over night and $20 for less than an hour!! Then when I checked in I had to wait for 45 mins for a room that was given to someone else. Then when they asked if I wanted another room I asked do I have a choice, their response was “not really”. I was very frustrated from having to drive in and then waiting with my son who was restless sitting in the lobby! The room was good but the customer service was sub par!

The hotel from the outside looks nice, but looks are definitely deceiving with this one. We checked in and once off the elevator and onto the 15th floor and the immediate smell of sewage hit me. Literally the floor/carpet smells of mildew and sewage. We get to our room and it is nice, no complaint there. However, at 4 am, my daughter went to use the restroom and the toilet overflowed onto the bathroom floor and into the room. I called down to the front desk and spoke with the clerk and he stated he would send someone up- never showed. We get up and I call back down to the front desk and they said they will send someone up, no showed so we went to breakfast. We came back to get ready for the day and the toilet is still messed up abc the floor is wet. I finally get someone to actually show up and fix it before it’s time to check out. Once I’m downstairs to check out, someone from the hotel with an iPad is immediately in my face asking about my stay and after I say less than pleasurable, he offers to “give you some points for your trouble “ which I still never got and the proceeds to try and sell me a vacation!!!!!! Sir! If you don’t read the room- this place needs to be updated, customer service needs to be worked on and definitely work on educating employees on how to handle situations like this

The staff was nice. The area was good. It was close to the Galleria. However, the room I was not good. The shower had no pressure. The beds were uncomfortable. We had to call the front desk to unclog the toilet because the pressure was so low. Although, my room could have been non smoking but the 24th floor may not have been. I smelled smoke everytime I would leave and return to my room. I will not be staying here again.

My stay at the DoubleTree Hilton was magnificent. From the moment I arrived, the level of service and attention to detail made the experience feel elevated and welcoming. Michael was exceptional every day I encountered him consistently professional, warm, and attentive. Robert was also wonderful and went out of his way to locate and save my Happy Birthday brooch, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. I’d also like to recognize Charlotte, the travel agent consultant, who was outstanding. She introduced me to the Hilton Honors app and took the time to thoroughly explain how to maximize its benefits. She was patient, informative, and genuinely invested in ensuring I had the best possible experience as a Hilton guest. The room was beautiful. I loved being on a high floor with a balcony the view was outstanding and added a sense of calm and luxury to my stay. There were a few minor maintenance details, but once mentioned, they were addressed immediately, which I truly appreciated. The staff overall was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again when I return.

we stayed one night, the room was nice with a balcony view, slightly outdated. Woke up this morning went to breakfast and it was $63 for two people for a mid breakfast with not many options to choose from, didn’t even have a waffle maker like most hotel breakfast. Then we checked out, went to their parking garage and went to leave and the gate refused to lift up to let us out. Had to wait on valet to come over and manually override open it. won’t stay at this one again.
