Not quite as expected

Location was very good, convenient services nearby. Lots of street noise, however. The unit was well worn, could use painting or wall-washing. The electrical sockets on the wall at the head of the bed need replacing; plugs just fell out of them! Rusty edges on the fridge door didn't look very pleasant. Helpful touches to add would include towel bars in the bathroom and by the sink, for hanging up wet towels, and plastic drinking glasses by the bathroom sink. We really liked the location and the bed was comfortable, and the room was okay for us because of modest price and our modest standards.

Rough stay

We were aware that this area was not ideal and going to be very noisy. We were visiting Ohana for a few days before heading to Big Island and the price was right and we needed king size bed. Well, the bed was awful and were extremely uncomfortable the few days we were there and actually left and stayed the last two eleswhere which was not in the budget. We would have been fine if the bed was comfy even with VERY loud AC. Also, go to thrift store and get a few more glasses so a couple does not have to share. Great water pressure in Barbie bathroom though and nice turtle pic. Great photo angle to really make room look appealing. The vanity has a bar sink LOL! Get a new bed and new pillows (which were nasty) and a little TLC already.

Great Centrally Located Efficiency Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed the location - we were just blocks away from everything - shopping, beach, coffee shops, and restaurants. We also loved the convenience store on the ground floor that was open 24/7, the on-site laundry, and then the rental car center on the ground floor - very convenient. The staff was very welcoming and friendly as well. The only reason I didn’t give this stay 5 stars was because the room appeared larger in the photos so we were a bit surprised by the size of the room and then the road noise from Kuhio is pretty loud - nothing that earplugs or a sound machine won’t solve, but future guests who aren’t used to city life may like to know that in advance so they can pack whatever is needed to help offset. I would definitely stay here again - the value and convenience was definitely worth it!!

Cute, small place close to beach

This is a great place for one or two people to stay, max. Small and cute, clean and convenient. Literally walking distance from great Waikiki beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, and more. Easy check-in and check-out, staff was very receptive and helpful (although not always around much). Very convenient place to leave your bags (for $5) is just next door if you have a late flight. Overall, great place!

Close to Beach

Very convenient location - close to beach, eateries, shopping & bus. Staff was excellent. Toilet had an issue, but staff were to deal with it promptly. Bed great, very comfortable. Unfortunately the room was missing things like beach towels, broom, hangers, but very minor in the scheme of things. Overall good value for your money.
