"The staff at reception were always so cheerful and helpful. The view from the city view rooms are incredible, and such a short trip into manhattan via subway. Only slight negative was that there were a lot of black hairs kept appearing on the pillows, sheets and towels, and on the bathroom floor. ..."

"Our stay at the Hampton Inn was very satisfactory. One doesn’t go to NYC to hang out in the room. The location was excellent, the elevators were timely, the breakfast was just what you would expect. "Overall, I like the hotel and it was very clean. The staff were very nice. However, there was a lot of problems. "Hotel is fairly basic but does the job. I'm not sure why, if the room is ready early, they want to charge an extortionate early check in fee though. Breakfast is poor. Room is clean. If on the first floor can be noisy from the reception."

"I like that the hotel has a bar but I don’t like to have to pay for parking and then there aren’t any spots left. I liked the area but I should have been asked if I want a room with a view of the water. Ice machine on 2nd floor was broken. Stopper in my bathroom sink was clogged. Other than that ..."

"The complimentary breakfast is what makes this spot my top choice in Times Square! Delicious and convenient. The staff are very professional. This was my second time staying and I’ll likely choose Hotel Edison again for future NYC trips."

"Great location - hotel felt run down and trying too hard to be trendy. Restaurant is closed for the next 2 months, front desk felt like assembly line. No lotion, no water in rooms Overall very underwhelmed, certainly better value at other hotels"

Arlo Midtown

Travelocity Verified Review

"This was our second time staying here! Our first visit was just my husband and me for a convention, and this time we came back with our kids for Labor Day weekend. Once again, we had such a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, especially with our 4-year-old. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. What made our experience even more special was that we accidentally left our son's bicycle behind, and they kindly kept it safe for almost three weeks until we could retrieve it! That level of care and thoughtfulness really says a lot about their hospitality. We’re so grateful for their kindness and for making both of our stays so memorable. It's the little things that make a big difference, and we will definitely be back! ❤️"
