"Although we ubered there from the airport, it was quick walk (5 minutes) from the Beachmont train station, which was the easiest way to get in and out of Boston for our day trips. Revere beach is at the end of the line, just a couple of stops away and the beach is beautiful. Breakfast was great and the coffee was too. Water and coffee in the lobby was nice. Room was a good size, quiet and comfortable, but just as an FYI for anyone else that finds even the slightest amount of light disruptive, there was a bright blinking light on one of the detectors on the ceiling. A sleep mask fixed that! Would recommend."

"The property was very convenient to everything in Salem including the short walk to the commuter rail depot to Boston. Our room and the bathroom were very small, which was disappointing since we stayed there 5 nights. When we checked in I asked the desk attendant if we could get a bigger room and she told me I should have done this request with Expedia prior to checking in. I was ot happy with her attitude and unresponsiveness. In summary it is a great historic hotel and very convenient."
