Hotel stay had been prepaid. Upon arrival waited 20 minutes for desk clerk to return from bathroom. Clerk wanted a credit card imprint, but rejected my card as it's a check cashing/credit card. (She never attempted to use the card and I've never had any problem with other hotels). I had to call Expedia, who explained to her that she could charge their virtual card and they would charge my card. This seemed totally incomprehensible to her. She placed Expedia on hold for 45 minutes while she waited on other guests. Between checking in those guests, she tidied desk for 10 to 12 minutes while ignoring bleeping of call on hold. When I reminded her that Expedia was still on hold she said she didn't know how to use their virtual card and suggested she'd "give me a card" and told me to ask Expedia to call back at 10 the next day so manager could handle it. (She never picked up phone again) I assumed that the "card" she was going to give me was a key card to my room, but after Expedia disconnected I discovered it was her Manager's business card, which I couldn't call until 10 the next day. She expected me to leave and find other accommodations for the night. I explained that I didn't have enough money to pay for another hotel room when I'd already used my budget for this trip to pay for multiple nights at hers. I was rudely told that she couldn't help me and asked to leave. I had to cut trip short and spent night sitting on bench outside train station. Never been treated so badly

Random people hanging out side. One person was washing his car and had items placed in the area meant for parking. Seem unsafe. Also Check out staff was rude. Mention to him that I was told during check- in that if I didn't use the safe I will get refunded. The check out staff had an attitude when I mentioned it to him and assure me it was taken off the bill. When I asked for my receipt he had an attitude just because I asked for it. On the bill I was NOT refunded.

Not a good area. Very loud. Obnoxious people in the parking lots. Doesn’t accept cash (a legal US tender). Very hard to get to.
