We had to wait 30 minutes to check in (something wrong with the computers, I think). I learned at check-in I would be charged for parking (not mentioned in the booking information). They informed us the water had been turned off (would be on again in about an hour). An hour later, still no hot water. I was not able to use Netflix, and tried to call the front desk. No one would answer so I went downstairs and waited at least another five minutes for someone to come to the desk (no bell, or sign saying “back in five minutes”). He had ear buds in every time I saw him and no name tag (seems unprofessional). He did send someone up to look at the TV (which was welcoming Scott, not me). The man who came up told us it was a WiFi issue that has been a problem for many customers for an extended period of time. I’m disappointed as I booked this hotel rather than a cheaper motel brand in order to have a good hotel experience. Expedia provided excellent support, at least.

Upon our arrival, we noted that the building's facade was undergoing construction, and there was a discernible, unpleasant odor within the premises. Due to the ongoing construction, the hotel was unable to provide connecting rooms, offering adjacent rooms as the closest alternative. Immediately following check-in, the significant noise and banging from the construction equipment detracted from our ability to enjoy our stay, prompting us to leave our room to avoid the disturbance. My previous experience at a Bonvoy property in Portland was considerably more favorable, characterized by superior cleanliness, modern amenities, and a highly professional and accommodating staff.

Staff is very kind, breakfast was yummy, there’s a pool and hot tub, our room was great and it’s extremely easy to get to! Bed was very comfy! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is they were doing construction to the front of the hotel so we had to use an alternate entrance and had to cut the water off from 1130-430 the first 2 days we were there and we weren’t notified this would be going on until we checked in. After driving 15 hrs all I wanted to do was shower. However, that issue aside everything else was great! I would stay there again!

$3.87 for parking a day which is ridiculous when the rooms are not that cheap. It is not a shared parking lot so they are just trying to get more money. There is currently construction going on that I was not aware of. Pool was not open. While the location is close to Salem, it is not convenient to get to.

The first room we got was so bad we requested to be moved. Both rooms had questionable plumbing but at least the second room was larger with better beds. The hotel is under construction as well which we didn't know about. The location is close enough to Salem and Boston and the staff is friendly.
