"The hotel was beautiful and everything was very clean and working properly. My only complaints were that my daughter and I booked a bedroom with a queen and Murphy bed, and the doors and walls to the bathroom were all frosted glass. So you can basically see the outline of someone going to the bathroom, taking a shower, etc. . I could see how this would be extremely awkward if staying with someone other than a partner or family member of the same sex. The only other complaint is that the restaurant and store in the hotel are extremely overpriced, but I know that’s typical. There is a Starbucks literally a few feet away for a much more affordable breakfast, and also some great breakfast places a little further with better food and prices than the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly with the exception of one bartender, who just seemed to think he ran the place and was just sort of rude for no reason. The surrounding area isn’t the prettiest, but Loíza St has lots of restaurants, and I always felt safe waking around just my daughter and I. They even have a shuttle right to the beach, though we did not take advantage of this while there. It was a convenient location between Old San Juan and Yunque rainforest, so Ubers were affordable from here to theses places. I would recommend this hotel, as the overall experience was great."

"We had a great stay at the resort and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in a little earlier than expected, which gave us extra time to settle in and start enjoying our vacation. The view from our balcony was beautiful and provided the perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The bar served very good food and drinks, and we also appreciated having access to the grill for additional dining options. The pool area was nice, but be aware that chairs fill up quickly. If you want a good spot by the pool, it's best to get there early in the day. Overall, the resort offered a great experience with friendly service, excellent amenities, and a fantastic view. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay. It does need some upkeep here and there. The beach was a bit underwhelming - a narrow stretch, with rocks in the water that can easily hurt your feet. While the water is very calm, the rocks can be a bit hard to navigate for younger kids. The pool was great but needed more upkeep. We arrived on July 4th and the pool area was packed. I noticed empty plastic cups in the bushes near the pool and even came across a plastic lid on the bottom of the pool. Some people had left their empty plastic cups near the edge of the pool. It was not a great first look, I must admit, but it got better during our stay, with fewer people around. The hotel needs to either incentivize people to bring their used pool towels back or have more personnel pick up the used towels. We found many pool chairs covered with wet towels, which made it hard to know if the person was still there or not. On the positive side, the fish pond and piano in the Garden wing were an absolute hit with my boys. We had fun feeding the fishes and the turtles and looking at the friendly iguanas roaming around. The ice cream shop, which is open 24 hours and also offers sandwiches, coffee and smoothies, is amazing. I recommend if you want a cheaper snack or breakfast than what the pricey restaurants in the hotel offer. Having a Starbucks there was also great. The stores were nice too, but overpriced."
