ESJ the staff was very friendly and try to help in any circumstances. It was really safe!! The property needs a lot of updates, the pool was under construction, my husband and I noticed once we checked in. The reason we booked ESJ was to celebrate our honeymoon and enjoy the pool and no pool that was sad. ESJ should advertise there is NO POOL. The room was ok, but it was not clean the kitchen was dirty.The checked in process was horrible, I truly felt bad for the concierge, she was the only one helping like 20 people; my husband and I we waited for almost 2 hours to have the room we booked.I asked for ocean view prior the check in. We received a different room, at the end the concierge accommodated us. Only 2 elevators worked instead of 3.The concierge that checked us in she goes above and beyond. Willy bar tender was very pleasant and very professional.

I usually just avoid to comment about a bad experience, but this time i think i am in need to help others to avoid this hotel, is old, smelly, bad service, it reminds in every way a chip hotel on the road, a reallyshame,whith such a beating beach.

I was unhappy that an employee stole a brand new fitted hat out my room, I actually extended my stay cause I was so pleased til I see they stole something out my room which I planned to revisit with my whole family but I’m unsure cause I want my belongings to be where they belong and don’t want to feel like my things will be looked thru

The overall stay was good. Hotel needs a bit of tlc and pool being renovated, which I was not told. I arrived early and asked front desk if I could get a call when the room was available but that never happened.

Staff was rude. Overbooked so they placed me on a different room from the one i booked. Location is bad. Pool was closed. Do not recommend. First time visiting Puerto Rico and i was really disappointed.

The staff was pleasant but it was like pulling teeth the get clean towels. Also the water in the bathroom doesn't get that hot. I did enjoy the balcony & the full kitchen.

When I 1st arrived I was given keys to a double bed room when I booked and paid extra for a king suite….they ended up switching me to a king room but NOT the one I booked online! As I was in the lobby I heard multiple other guests complaining about the same thing… booking a certain room type and being given something else. So be aware of that! Other than not getting the room I wanted and paid for, the hotel pool was down. The area is good, close to tourist attractions, the airport, and the shopping mall. The cafe they have is also nice and the bar was nice as well. Decent hotel for the price but next time I would probably choose another place.

When booking the room, I booked a king size bed and got a double bed. Although the room looked nice there was no hot water making it difficult to take longer showers.
