Lovely property with direct access to the beach. Family friendly without being overly so. It would also work for just adults. The lobby bartenders were great. They were friendly and welcoming and took great care of us. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend a club room. The club rooms include vouchers for breakfast and happy hour for two people. It was a bummer that it did not cover all 4 adults that were staying in our room. It doesn’t make much sense to only offer meals/drinks to half the guests in a room but we made the most of it. Beds were comfy and having access to the grounds/pool area walking out the patio from our room was very convenient.

Outdoor pool is large and kid friendly. The beach is right there, with chairs and towels available with no wait time. Free water bottle in the room and gets replenished every day. I was a little disappointed by the breakfast /buffet. I stayed at the Sonesta in Portugal/Lisbon the breakfast was just fabulous there. In PR it was just ordinary.

If you are ok with unexpected fees this is the place for you. When we checked we were told there would be a $500 dollar hold, $120 would be kept for facility/ amenity fees for use of pool/chairs/beach. I thought the daily rates would cover this but Ok, sure. When we checked out these fees were about $400! My incidental fees was about $100. 2 other couples reported the same thing, coincidently their facility/amenity fees were close to the amount of their holds. the hotel IS a little run down, small water leaks all over the roofs in lobby and room, mold around roof and tub. Pool needs l filter checked, way too much debris floating and on the ground, especially near the swim up bar. I have several friends traveling to PR in the several months, I would NOT recommend this place. The Italian restaurant is beautiful, but it has to be the one of the worse foods I have ever had. I noticed other customers returned plates still filled with food.
