check in staff was quite junior. I understand my ID's last name did not match my reservation (due to a recent divorce) but offered to show her my confirmation email and credit card (that matched my last name). She had to go back of house and ask someone. Several minutes passed and sure enough, I had to present her the email (which I was fine) but I had to hold out my arm while she zoomed (which I told her she could take my phone). Then she just gave me my keys, did not smile, offer water nor point us to where the elevators were..which is standard. She needs extreme training or this is not what she should be doing as she seemed scared/nervous throughout the entire process.

The young man who served us dinner was really very interesting and we had a most enjoyable chat. Also the man who served us breakfast today was overly friendly and one felt as if you were visiting with family. The purpose of our trip to Toronto was for a family funeral and your staff and accommodations were a balm to those sad emothions.
