GREAT hotel!

Location: The Big Bus stop was right across the street from the hotel which was a bonus! This was a great location in general.
What a great hotel! We stayed in the Imperial room and it was gorgeous! From the lobby to the Anzu restaurant to the room, everything is done with a quiet elegance. There are beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby and contemporary decor throughout the lobby. The staff are pleasant and very attentive. The bathroom light went out and the battery in the safe had to be changed but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay there. I wish all hotels were like this one!

Go Hotel in San Francisco

Pros: Location, friendly staff, buffet breakfast at Anzu, Japanese attention to detail, swimming pool.
Cons: More coffee pods in room for Keurig.
Location: It is very close to Union Square, Market Street, and China Town. There are many restaurants nearby. There is a lot of shopping within a short walk.
This was my 3rd stay at the Nikko in the last 2 years. I have been pleased, and glad I chose this hotel every time. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and have been recently remodeled. The hotel is one of the only ones in the area that has a swimming pool. The indoor pool area is very bright and modern, and includes a hot tub. There is also a 24 hour fitness room. I would recommend upgrading your room to imperial status. You will get a room on the top three floors of the hotel and access to a continental breakfast in the morning, and snacks and beer and wine in the evening. This rate includes free breakfast at Anzu, and premium WiFi. The hotel is in a good location with many restaurants nearby. It is a short walk from Market Street, Union Square, and the heart of China Town. I have no complaints with this hotel and would recommend it highly. I have stayed in a few others in the Union Square area. I will be a regular at the Nikko from now on.

Most comfortable and accommodating hotel ....

From the beginning of my stay and through to the end, a stellar experience. Devon(Front Desk) and Desiree ( Concierge) ,were most helpful at check in and assisting in securring dinner reservations for my stay. A most enjoyable stay....

nice hotel

Cons: the carpet in our room appeared dirty which made the otherwise pristine room less desirable
We had a very nice 2 night sty in this hotel. Good location. excellent restaurant

King bed is not a king

My experience was otherwise fine, however the "king" bed was 7.5 inches narrower than a king. We could have gotten a similar hotel for a LOT cheaper but really wanted a king bed. Stating that it is a king is a flat out lie and frankly not legal. Makes you wonder what other sketchy things they are doing. Also just FYI the gym is an additional cost. WiFI is free and fast enough to stream movies.

Exceedingly...

I really enjoyed my visit to the Nikko Hotel. I was given a room on the 17th floor, the view was awesome. The staff made me feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco!

Comfy hotel – Great Location

Pros: The staff was very nice and after check-in they send us an email asking if we need something else just to let them know. I think this was a nice touch
Cons: The A/C on my bedroom changed constantly to AUTO mode and was kind hot during night.
Location: This hotel is right in the middle of the action. A few blocks from Union Square (a lot of stores around), with accessibility to public transportation
We stayed at Hotel Nikko during Christmas time for 5 days and we certainly loved it. I didn’t try the restaurant or the Concierge Service. During check-in they provided us with a map that was very helpful. The check-in process was fast as the same as check-out. This was our first time in San Francisco and definitely to have a great hotel service made it a lot better and less worrisome.

Just right for a short stay

Pros: Good price for Union Square
Cons: Lower Parking fees.
Location: Shopping, restaurants and trolleys.
Small room but good price for Union Square. Staff are all friendly and helpful from bell hop, valet parking, front desk to concierge.
