Stuff was amazing. Only three stars because the room wasn’t a clean as it should be for the cost. And it needs some updating because even the shower curtains were old and frayed. Corners of the room where the carpets are you could see where dirt and dust were gathering and they’re not being cleaned regularly. While the area isn’t close to fisherman’s wharf, and Ghirardelli’s square, and you expect some noise from maybe people walking around, but you definitely don’t expect all of the loud vehicles from the work being done around it so there was no way for me to sleep throughout the night.

Staff were fine. Breakfast options were expensive and for the most part cold. I think they would benefit greatly from a breakfast buffet that has cold and hot items, including eggs and meat and cereal, etc.. The room itself was OK, but we had ants in the bathroom on the floor and they had also claimed food that we had secured in our backpacks in closed plastic containers. Parking was ridiculously expensive. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again. It is too bad because I traveled to San Francisco a lot.

I would have given a better review had the manager followed thru with our expected comp for our stay January 27th thru 29th. I was injured in my room in attempting to kneel down to collect a fallen earbud My leg hit an exposed metal mattress holder . An emergency room trip required gluing my skin on my 3+ inch gap. Stitches would have been 10.

Everyone was super friendly, but I also loved the excursions desk. Both employees that I dealt with there were very informative and helpful. We really enjoyed the free bike rides on Fisherman's Wharf, and it was very helpful that the cable car was only a couple of blocks away. Great price, for a great hotel!

Great location given the busy area, the room was quiet at night which was nice. Room and common areas were clean and the free coffee in the morning was nice. The gym was also spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. Staff was great and helpful when I had trouble with the self-check in machines.
