Rooms are small and lack storage space but have everything you could want, microwave, TV etc. Clean and tidy with very helpful and friendly staff, though the Roku TV takes a bit of getting used to.

We didn't stay here due to lack of functioning smoke alarms in room and were supposed to get a refund that we haven't yet received.
No functional smoke alarm in room. We were told we would be refunded when we decided not to stay in this firetrap hotel. No refund has occurred yet.

This was a percent location for a single male traveling for photography, site seeing and food. The access to every type of mass transit right at the door step was cherry on top. My room was quiet and clean. While the room temperatures did swing throughout my visit, I was never uncomfortable due to warm blankets and a bed side fan being provided. The staff were also very friendly.

The room was kept very clean and was serviced every day. Towels were changed regularly. The location is ideal and in spite of being on on of the main streets in San Francisco noise levels were not too bad. My room was towards the back but I imagine the rooms at the front are much noisier.

Great old school San Fransisco stay

Love the simple easy stay. I don’t need frills or anything just a clean friendly place to lay my head. It was excellent. No ac but it was still comfortable.
