If you’re interested in staying at a hotel with hospitality, timely customer service, doors that reach the floor, windows that block out sound, amenities beyond basics, and a comfortable bed, look elsewhere. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic, staff were great and breakfast was so convenient and delicious. I had read some people mentioning noise as a concern in other reviews and I would agree that you could hear into the courtyard/doors closing in the halls. However, this did not disrupt our sleep (or our baby's). Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we ever return.

The staff at the Hotel Riu were amazing! They were so helpful when my second hotel of the trip segment cancelled on me. They reassured me that they could help accommodate us for our extended dates and all the staff were so so SO FRIENDLY! I spoke to different staff members and they each were very helpful and gave me personal tips and tricks to navigate the city safely and efficiently.

The room is very clean. There is a mini fridge and no microwave. Breakfast buffet is very good! The only problem is everyone in your party has to be there no exceptions. Great staff, especially Michelle at the front desk!!! Great location to pier 39, Fishermen’s Wharf, restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Do recommend this hotel!
