"Nice Hotel close to Wedding activities. "
We booked this Hotel because it was close to the Wedding we were in town for. It was very nice and close to the water. The staff was very nice as well. We were able to hike a bit on the trails next to Hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very reasonable.

"Convenient, central location!"
Beautiful hotel in heart of the city. Staff were couteous, friendly and helpful. Standard queen room was comfortable but small. Bathromm had very litle space to spread out, which was a minus for my wife. Bed pillows were not comfortable at all. Parking is the cost of some motels I've stayed in! :-) Overall would stay here again only for the convenience to the City.

"Cute Hotel in a Great Location"
Close walking distance from shops and restaurants, and about 15 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf. Clean room, nicely updated bathroom, nice change from the "big box" hotels. Some street noise until bars closed, but silent after that. White noise from the A/C unit in the room took care of that. Would stay there again.

"Fun Beach Stay"
We really enjoyed this hotel. We vacationed with our family of four, (2 kids, 6 & 8 yrs old) and another couple we have been friends with forever(they stayed on 3rd level, Penthouse). We had an ocean front view on the 2nd floor which was fantastic! We stayed the Aug. 23rd weekend. A lot of the schools had already started so it was fairly kid quiet. The fog horn which sounds about every 5 seconds did not bother us at all. We even slept with our balcony door open at night and didnt hear it. Quiet hotel rooms overall. We did pick up some wine and cheese at 5:30 each night. The white wine I had was good. But, I think they could have offered some plates, instead of napkins for the cheese and a real knife instead of plastic. Breakfast was a good selection of homemade baked goods; muffins, coffee cake, danish, bagels/cream cheese, coffee, milk and juice. The selections varied according from day to day. Kids and our friends enjoyed the pool and hot tub spa. I like how they were separated from each other with a fence surrounding each. Views from patio/swim area were wonderful. The area was close to other areas. There is a walking path behind the hotel that will take you to other restaurants (Barbara's Fish Trap which we enjoyed) and Half Moon Brewery which I would NOT recommend due to service and food quality. Overall enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a beach get-away.

"Exquisite hotel in a nice part of San Francisco"
This place is very nice. Beautiful historic building with great staff. Our kids enjoyed complementary cookies and milk every night and we enjoyed champagne. They truly pay attention to the last detail. The only thing I could complain is the hefty valet parking fee a night. But I guess it's San Francisco.

"Nice hotel with excellent location!"
The Hyatt at Embarcadero is the perfect location to explore San Francisco. All public transportation is right outside the door. BART, cable car, buses and trolley cars. Directly across from the Ferry Building where many tours start. Good restaurants all around, Walgreens across the street. The room was nice and the staff friendly but the best thing was the location.

"Nice hotel with great view of San Francisco Bay"
This hotel is about 22 miles from SF situated directly on the bay. There is a pedestrian pathway behind which stretches a few miles so you can take a leisurely stroll. You enter the hotel to find a beautiful lobby with a koi pond, palm trees and a waterfall. We couldn't check in until 3pm so we ordered lunch and sat outside the bar area overlooking the bay. This hotel is very close to the SF airport. It was fun to watch the planes taking off across the bay and we enjoyed the view of the city as well. Lunch was pricey, not great, but acceptable. Breakfast was free. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small. There was a tiny balcony overlooking the bay. The rest of the room was the same as any Embassy Suites; a couch and sitting room area, all rooms overlooking an atrium area. The only problems we encountered were that the elevators closest to our room were not working. They were repaired the next morning. Also, parking was expensive at $22 per night. They don't provide Internet in the rooms unless you purchase it or are a member of the Hilton Honors program. Ask for a room on a higher floor. The noise from the bar was annoying at night. If you are a first time visitor to SF, I would not recommend this hotel. The traffic on Hwy. 101 going into SF is heavy, even on the weekends. Parking is at a premium and is costly. You will waste precious vacation time and money driving back and forth. Burlingame is an upscale town with nice restaurants and shopping
