Front counter staff level of service was suspect. Some were great, some were dismissive, at best. Coffee not replenished in my room twice during service. I had to go downstairs to get more coffee for my room.

This is a clean and safe place to stay. The staff was great and the room was clean, updated and comfortable. There are several convenient businesses nearby (Starbucks, Dunkin, grocery, Home Depot) that made it a great base of operations for some business in the area. It's a little loud due to being near busy roads, but not terribly so. The convenience factor makes up for it. I will definitely stay here next time I have to be in San Antonio. It's also not too far from the airport.

I was surprised that we had to pay for our buffet breakfast, which normally such hotels are complementary. Having to pay $13.99, for what I would normally receive as complementary with similar buffets at other similar type hotels. I don't know if this was a time occurrence at this particular hotel are other Hilton Garden Hotels like this one, if so I won't be making reservations at these hotels in future. My room was fine, the overall service was fine. There were other restuarants near by which were reasonably priced, so I went there for my meals. Thank you,

Upon arrival we noticed only 2 bottles of water for the coffee maker, I went to the desk and asked if we could get 2 more. the woman at the desk told me to grab a couple. When I started to leave, she said (in a loud voice) stop you need to pay for that. Our account was charged over 7 dollars for the 2 bottles. I also mentioned that we only had one chair for 2 people on a 5 day stay, asked if we could get the other one. She said it would be taken care of. As we were going out the next day housekeeping was in the hall and asked if we needed cleaning, towels, water, etc. asked if we needed to pay for the water, she told us no that it comes with the room. At the front desk, CHRIS RODMAN (different desk clerk) said he was not aware of the chair problem and said that he would take of it. Less than 15 minutes later we had the chair. He is an all-star employee! Window shade was broken, could not be raised had to use binder clips to hold it up. I could tell you more, but it would take too long.
