"I really enjoyed my stay. I was in for a baseball game and the walk to Kauffman only took about 16 minutes. The property appears well maintained. Although towels are a bit on the small side. As I was only one person, it was not an issue. I would definitely recommend Hotel Lotus, especially for a ball game, It is a bit far too commute to downtown Kansas City. Also, the AC was excellent!!! I love a cold room!!!"

"Great location in the heart of KC. Brief walk to Milwaukee Delicatessen which we love. The hotel is really pretty and steeped in history. We love that Hilton renovated and saved this piece of heritage for us to enjoy! The P.S. Speakeasy had amazing drinks and we loved the Jazz trio that was playing."

"Loved the hotel and the pool. Wished there was a hot tub. Loved the hammocks and yard games too. Outside pool was heated and lovely even on a cool overcast night. The indoor pool was a bit disappointing because it was so cold and there was only one basketball to share. Food at the Landshark was overpriced and disappointing. Overall happy with our stay. "

"The Lodge itself feels as if it should be in a mountain. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. They have a beautiful lake right outside the patio area, with a great walking path. It has its own bar and many close restaurants to choose from. breakfast was included andvery good! There were two large school buses of high school football players, and they still kept everything moving quickly and efficiently in the restaurant area, I would strongly recommend."
