Our stay was ok. We had a King suite, with a sofa bed and 2 tvs. The cable was not working at all & a message box kept coming up on the side every 20-30 seconds on one of the tvs. I told someone on the first day we were there & he said he would have to just come up and look at it when he got a chance (which he didn’t). The next day, I spoke with someone else & he said the same thing; he didn’t come up either. Later that day, our toilet was stopped up and I told a man at the desk and he said he would get up there when he had time to look at it. Gratefully when we returned, our toilet had been fixed, but a mess was left. I feel there should be a maintenance person who word on all of those issues, not just the front desk person who has to take care of the desk and maintenance issues. Also, we had a sofa bed, but there was not any bedding in the room for it, so I had to go downstairs and ask for those. Lastly, on our first night there at about 5:40 am, the fire alarm went off and we all had to go outside. Walked down 4 flights of stairs behind someone with a wheelchair. The chair bound person was in the back of someone and the other person was trying to get the wheelchair down the stairs. Within 1-2 minutes of us finally getting out, they turned it off and said we could go back in. On our last night, the fire alarm went off at 10:30pm and 1:30 am for a few minutes. Luckily it stopped after a few seconds. The hotel was easily accessible & the breakfast options were pretty good.

I am not able to give a positive review, as I never made it to Houston, due to Severe Weather Conditions, here in Columbus, Ohio. When I called your hotel to cancel, whike they canceled my reservation; with this Hotel Cancelation number 17918393; the gentleman at the desk would not issue a refund because his Manager was not there and the Manager was the only one who could approve and issue Refunds. Please issue my refund and email Confirmation of said Refund to: tjfourgrandz5@gmail.com. Thank you for your immediate attention to this delicate matter.

The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The same with our room. We had to wait a bit because housekeeping wasn’t finished yet and the staff was very accommodating. I wasn’t in a rush to any where so it didn’t matter if I had to wait. How hateful have hotel guests been to the work staff that the head of housekeeping expected us to be angry rather than patient. Great hotel. Great staff. Nice place to stay.

This hotel is in a location that is “off the beaten path” and is not adjacent to any popular sites or destinations. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but other than that it’s just ok.

Was close to Union Station which was where we were going. Clean and quiet. SO short staffed! Jasmine checked us in while training a new employee and did great. Jasmine came to our room because our heater was making loud noises and moved us to another room. Neither room had a phone and we reported this but never got a phone which would have been nice as every time we needed something we had to go to the front desk. We had one coffee packet for two people and no tray to place it into the coffee maker so back to the front desk! Morning of the 14, no waffle batter, no oatmeal, no milk for cereal, no bacon or eggs. Jasmine was trying to get breakfast going AND tend the front desk. She did an amazing job and did jobs that weren't hers to do. She is a keeper!!!
