Check in was slow. No one welcomed us apun arrival. I had asked if there was a washroom to use as we were early and did not want to check in yet. Was asked my name then given a room key. There was no direction except for park in the rear and put the tag in window. Our room had no access to the air conditioning. It was 78 degrees in there. We had to have maintenance come and turn the A/C function back on in the unit. What type of a hotel does this? Sunday breakfast was non existent. Started at 7am, by 8am there was no hot food and no one was in any hurry to refill it. There was no urgency or customer service. For being in the hospitality field, your guests should feel welcome. Your stay should be a home away from home. This was not. We will not be staying again

Check in was at 4, didn’t get the room ready until much later. Charge extra to park for the chiefs game, which is new this year, breakfast was empty with no plates, asked the staff about it and they didn’t have any. When they filled the breakfast they still provided no plates. So how could we eat it? Very bad experience. Charging for the chiefs game is ridiculous as that’s the only selling point to staying at this hotel was the free parking for guest.

Can’t really leave a review since we left before checking in. Super sketchy and worth the piece of mind to walk away from the non refundable deposit placed on room for the night. Not at all what we expected from pictures. However front desk staff was super kind when letting them know we would not be staying..
