Property was very nice, very tropical and well taken care of. My room had a very heavy musty smell. Somewhat dated although it was the new section ? Don’t like having to walk to concierge to make dinner arrangements. Been to too many resorts where that is no longer done. Shuttle service is hit or miss.

We had a two bedroom penthouse suite which was pretty nice until the second night of our stay when there was very heavy rain. Unfortunately it also rained in our hotel suite. There were multiple leaks from the ceiling leaving puddles throughout the living room floor and into the bedroom. What a horrible experience. Once management was informed they came and put towels all over the floor. We were never even accommodated for this huge inconvenience. I will NEVER stay here again.

This was by far the WORST experience ever! From check in to check out. I had to change my room three times for various issues ranging from broken TVs, to broken telephones to dirty rooms to ants. No paper towels, no plates, no silverware, no pots but they have full kitchens. It’s supposed to be all inclusive but they add a room service delivery charge that they tack on upon check out. The food selections weren’t the greatest.Limited menu Most things taste like they were of the box/ microwave variety. Two of the rooms They places me in were outdated. The concierge ask for tips before providing services that are related to their job. There was no welcome gift as promised.

Everything about this resort was amazing. We felt very safe and healthy with us going during COVID. They are taking every precaution to make sure they disinfecting, appropriately. The food was AMAZING!! And the staff was wonderful, they would all respond with “ my pleasure” any time you asked them for something or thanked them. My family and I agreed that this was the best resort we’ve stayed at and we’re already planning next years trip!

We had a wonderful experience! The resort had extra sanitizing measures in place due to Covid19 which was much appreciated. The staff was amazing and service was impeccable! The infinity pool with bar service that leads right to the beach was where we spent most of our time. If we weren’t at the pool then we were eating the amazing food they had to offer. Not all of the amenities were open due to Covid19, but the resort made the best of the situation and we did not feel like we missed out. I cannot say enough about the staff, amazing! We will go back!

Pros- Food was excellent, beach and infinity pool were nice. Cons- communication about how to get towels, events, etc was awful. Things were very spread out- 10 min walk from room to beach, no snacks delivered pool side, options for self serve were very limited, pretty much only a basic burger or a taco, drink service was very slow, all drinks were super sweet, room needed a scrubbing, house keeping was inconsistent, some days snacks on fridge, others not.

Choose something else

I just returned from Azul Fives by Karisma. I felt like in a third world country. My wife clothes were disappearing. Bed bugs, were all one the place. A BAD,BAD, experience.

AAA gave this a 4.5 diamond rating. On a great day I would give them a 2 diamond rating. Never again for my family.

Room service took 2 hours, maid service knocked at the door at 11pm and the resort food was not representative of a AAA 4.5 diamond rating.

overpriced resort

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, Poor breakfast
Be aware I travel a lot this is not 5 star hotel, and services are not great, limited menu in restaurants, staff are friendly, but they make mistakes in orders because lack of English. The best part in this hotel is kids club
