I loved my stay there. A family environment is what it absolutely is. The only comment I would make is that the pool for adults should stay open later than 10 pm. I have stayed in other resorts where the pool is open late in the evening. I came from California and would've loved to enjoy the pool in the evening because of the hot weather I can only take the day in spurts.

"Beautiful property with courtyards and fountains."
Big suite with nice view from the balcony. One of our party had a leak but we were both moved to a King suite and were both given $50 in credit for our troubles. Weather was cool so we did not do any swimming but the water park looked like a lot of fun. Restaurants on site were very good, especially for breakfast.

"Nice with minor glitches"
In the Marriott tradition, the villa was clean, spacious and well-appointed.  Staff was courteous and helpful.  Villas are designed to provide a home-away-from-home and this one had pretty much anything you would need... full kitchen, spacious double bath with separate tub and shower, walk-out patio, washer and dryer, safe, etc.  The property was huge and was adjacent to a golf course and the larger, more expensive J.W. Marriott resort.  There was a nice, full-service pool area for those who like to hang out and swim.  Ample parking for all guests.  The huge Desert Ridge Mall was right down the street and provided great opportunities for shopping and dining.  Some minor issues: dishwasher had no cancel function, which had the maintenance staff so perplexed that they pulled the plug to shut off the machine (needless to say, we didn't use the dishwasher); one lamp in the bedroom had a faulty switch which was nearly impossible to turn on and off; the phone cards did not give a number to call to report problems, i.e. contact the front desk.

"Very nice hotel"
We stayed here for a vacation. Very nice resort. Great location. We had reserved a room with a sun deck, and a king size bed, but when we arrived we were given a room with 2 double beds. After working with the assistant manager, they were very accommodating, and the next day we were able to get a room without a sun deck, but with the king size bed that we preferred. The staff was very professional, and as accommodating as possible. I was very happy with how they did their best to work with me.

"Pretty Big has lots to do"
I was staying here to go to a wedding in Flag Staff. They have many buildings and it got confusing on where mine was, but after I got orientated I was able to find the short cuts. They have many restaurants, bars and pools. So if I came here just to relax I would have been found different things to do.

"Amazing experience"
Definitely a Westin at its best. A great combination of a High end hotel with a comfort and convenience that a "Villas" can offer. If you have kids, this is the place to stay. You can enjoy the villas and still use a lot of the amenities in the main hotel. I Strongly recommend!

"Relax, Release, and Enjoy"
This was one of the best resorts that I have stayed at in a long time. After the passing of my mother, my husband and I needed a place to just RELAX, rejuvenate, reflect, and rest our thoughts. The beauty of the hotel immediately took us to another place, away from the stresses of the previous month. I love the sound of soothes my soul. The hotel is surrounded by water...fountains, the pond, the connected pools with fountains of water running from overhead into the pools. I cannot describe the beauty and peacefulness of this was much more beautiful than the pictures show. There is an area for families and children, but also a separate pool for adults-only. Both were frequented daily and especially at night when the lights add a romantic flavor. I even got my hubby to go down the water slide...that was an experience! Our king-sized room with balcony overlooked the pond area where I often saw hummingbirds, a rabbit, and butterflies grace our presence. The room was large and bathroom a shower made for two was just as nice. The resort also boasts restaurants, spa, tennis courts, work-out facility, a Starbucks, and Gondola ride with professional singers. Everything was perfect for our week's stay.
