Loved my stay and always will. Me and my partner enjoy each time we come. On every special occasion we come and spend our time. Staffs are nice.It’s cleans , it’s peaceful. It’s everything a traveler would want.

An adventure in Philly

The staff was amazing. Front desk was outstanding. My issue was with the location and the lack of windows. The dusty headboard had me a tad concerned about the cleanliness of my room

Disgusting!!!

The only thing that looks the same in the pictures shown is the color of the bedspread. The hotel was filthy from the dirty carpet, nasty bathrooms, dirty walls and awful breakfast.

Nice clean hotel,the staff was very nice.i only have one problem,i never received my 50 dollars back they took from my credit card.was told they would put it back on my card,they did not.the room was left in excellent condition.they had no reason to keep my money.under those circumstances i would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Next door to a homeless shelter

Pros: Very close to the convention center. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Plumbing. Humid ceiling. Homeless population hangs around the front doors and smoke cigarettes
Location: Not much to do on Race St. Right behind the convention center. Cherry Lounge at the Sheraton (down the street) had a nice bar and good food.
This hotel is old. The ceiling was starting to give out in the bathroom. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. I believe the hotel will have some serious plumbing problems in the near future, as the toilet would not flush even paper and several guests on the lower floors had to request plunger. You can hear every step the room above you takes. Hotel is next door to a very active homeless shelter. As a woman, traveling alone, this was very concerning. Some of my meetings went well into 11pm and having to walk through 14 homeless guys crowded around the entrance of the hotel was not exactly thrilling. I paid a hotel employee to escort me to my cab after one homeless man decided he was sweet on me. Not that this is the hotels fault but shelter is not listed on the map when I was reviewing the surrounding areas. The hotel should do more to keep the guys from hanging around the front doors. The breakfast buffet was a few sausage links, microwaved pancakes and cereal. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Do more research on area before you stay.

The floor the room was on was dirty. There were holes in the walls. Upon exiting the elevator the floor smelled of drugs being smoked. Upon returning to the room for the night we were awakened at 3:30am. Three subjects were knocking on door and window. After not opening the door our room phone rang. With someone who said he had the wrong room. At that point we left without checking out at 4:00am concerned for our safety. I paid for the room and we stayed in for a total of an hour becuase of the experience. I would never stay at the location again. I understand the location is located in a metropolitan area which was okay during the daylight hours. The whole dynamic of the area changed after dark. I felt the location would be okay due to its location across from the convention center. Which was not the case.Worse stay experience ever. Came to area to relax and go to a concert. At one point felt as if we might become a victim of a crime. Myself and friend that were staying in the room are both veteran police officers from a nearby state with several years experience. That played a part in the decision to leave the location. Would not bring my family there.
