Unique and comfortable

Pros: Access to the park, coffee shop with a park view patio.
Cons: Manage the automatic key expiration/disable process more closely. My key stopped working around midnight. Guests in other rooms had the same issue.
Location: Lake Eola, the park and fountain are right outside. There are trails around the lake through the park. Easy walk to downtown and SunRail station.
Seems to be an older structure that's been fully modernized. It has a unique character that's a nice departure from standard hotels. The windows can be opened for fresh air and there is an automatic fire sprinkler system throughout. It has sunny outdoor decks for common use on two levels. There's original artwork in the common areas. Parking is extremely limited. If you can't tolerate traffic noise I would request a room away from the E. Robinson Ave. side. Eola Park and its walking trails around the lake are directly outside. It's a quiet and scenic downtown location a few blocks away from the noise and activity of the Orange Ave. area, but within walking distance.

Right in the middle of downtown Orlando

Pros: Charming, clean and convenient.
Cons: Keep it that way!
A very pleasant surprise, the hotel is surrounded by big old trees, you cannot tell you are in downtown Orlando. Across the street is Eola Lake with its beautiful park surrounding the lake. On Sundays there is an awesome farmers market. I drove from Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, parked my car at the hotel parking and did not drive it until Sunday when I headed back home. Excellent restaurants and clubs, all at a walking distance. Had a blast!

Wonderful location, clean, trendy

The area alone would make me want to stay here again. Within walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants, a Starbucks (!), a park and a gorgeous lake. the hotel room was fairly small and the bathroom was extremely small but we weren't in the room very much so that was fine. The front desk associates were very friendly and our room was clean. We stayed during the week so the hotel wasn't very busy and we had the hot tub to ourselves. Our room had a nice balcony (the only thing separating our balcony from the one next to us was a curtain but that room didn't appear to be occupied). They have artwork hanging throughout the hotel that you can buy (we bought a piece at check out) which is a nice touch. One of the only negatives is that it seems at night, there is only one person working and they handle the front desk as well as helping guests with luggage and other duties so we had to wait outside until the desk clerk finished with another guest to let us in and assist us. We had to call a number posted on the front door of the hotel letting them know we were trying to get inside the hotel which was a slight inconvenience because we were literally standing outside with all of our luggage waiting for someone to u clock the door. The front desk is only open from 8am-midnight. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Nice location, close to downtown.

Cons: Wifi service was spotty. Each floor of the hotel has a different wifi network. Sometimes the strongest signal was from a different floor.
Location: Great location on the edge of beautiful Lake Eola, and an easy walk to Church Street Station and other locations in the downtown area.
Comfortable and quiet room in the middle of the city. Friendly staff. Many places within walking distance.

it was a cute boutique hotel, cosy and all the easy access to the city.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Excellent stay. Don't expect to much, if you are used to staying in a chain hotel. This is nice. It's quiet, quaint, near the beautiful Lake Eola and convenient to all restaurants and has a bus line that goes by the hotel.

Not bad for one night, but not as glamorous as it is made out to seem.

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
It was fine for a quick business trip at the price, but not somewhere I would stay for a weekend. Room was antiquated and not as glamorous as advertised.

Best value for the Downtown area

Stayed during family wedding at this cozy inn. One of the amenities is courtsey breakfast. There was no breakfast provided. When I asked the front desk they looked at me like I was crazy. When checking in, the front door was locked and waited 25min out in the Florida heat waiting for someone to open the front and check us in. All in all, good place for the money and great location on Lake Eola which I love.

Park proximity

Great location on Lake Eola..great to get up and relax with coffee at Panera Restaurant downstairs. Not much else...rooms need extra lighting in big way. Can not do work with this light. No food on site..restaurant closes at 8pm. Thornton Park area is walking distance.

Best Kept Secret

This place is so cute. It is located right in downtwon with clean and smart rooms. You can literally walk anywhere from the hotel to eat, shop or the downtown gym. The queen rooms could be bigger but still perfect for a single traveler. The king room with the large bathtub is incredible. The decor is very modern. There is a spa on the second floor offering massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. There is a jacuzzi on the second floor outside. Only 16 rooms, so you have to book it before anyone else does.
