Staff very slow, concierge does not answer phone at all… I called multiple times finally went to front desk and concierge just sitting there not busy. Unsafe as anyone can get into hotel building and come right up to door at anytime. Stayed here for Universal Transport and received little to no information making us miss the first shuttle for the first day and the times of shuttle are not accommodating

I had booked two rooms under my name but my friend staying in the other room came to the hotel before me. I had called prior to her arrival to let Hyatt know she would checking in before me & that the reservation was under my name. They said they added her name to the notes section. Then at 7 PM when we tried to check in they couldn’t find my reservation. I had to pull up my confirmation email & that didn’t help either. I even gave them my friends name & they still couldn’t pull it up. After talking to management & somebody in reservations, they were still having trouble. After about 20 minutes, they finally found my reservation under my friends name… The same name I had given them 20 minutes ago. It was really frustrating at the end of a long day. Then when we asked, what room my friend was staying in after she handed us our room keys, they had to look up everything all over again. It just was not a smooth process at all. Outside of check-in, the only other complaint that we had was that the bathrooms were really old, outdated & clearly patched everywhere. The tile was calked in patches, tub was peeling, fixtures super old & janky. The screws were popping out of our shower handle & tub was so slow to drain I was standing in water the whole time. Otherwise the room was roomy,clean & quiet, beds comfy. Small fridge, large TV, blackout curtains, quiet cold AC unit was great! I would consider staying here again

This property wasn’t as described in the reviews and photos. It smells of smoke and we even had to be moved from our room one night because the person next to us was smoking and filled our room with smoke. It was unbearable for my family. It felt unsafe in the tower area and very dirty. Also very out dated. The resort is in need of renovations. The lady who checked us in and moved us was very kind and quick to help though. It was appreciated.
