I checked in and immediately checked right back out. I’m not afraid to stay in a rough area, but I do expect a clean room, and this was by far the worst place I have ever seen. The room was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The door was dented and damaged, the sheets had hair and stains (possibly blood or other bodily fluids), the mirrors were smeared, the floors were dirty, and the bathtub was stained. The entire room smelled old and musty. I went to the front desk and they tried to move me to another room, but it was even worse. The manager even told us not to pull back the bedding because we would “mess it up,” and said he saw us checking it, which was very unsettling. The second room was just as bad, with dirty bedding, stained furniture, and damaged doors. I got a refund and left immediately. The online pictures look nothing like the property. It felt more like an hourly rental than a hotel. Spent $100 more at a resort nearby and it was worth every penny. Stay far away.

1st Room we had smoked like cigarettes. So they changed us. New room still smelled like a wet dirty mop was used to clean the floor. And it had a greasy feeling to it. AC didn't really work very well at all. Phone didn't work to call for towels. Second morning, no hot water had to call main number to get them to turn it back on. Shower curtain rod was broken. We asked them to fix it in between the 2 day stay and nobody ever bothered. Room 303 needs alot of work. Extremely disappointed that Wyndham would associate themselves with this place.

Terrible experience. My girlfriend and I stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Orlando Downtown on Saturday night, and it was extremely disappointing — especially considering we paid about $230 for one night. As soon as we entered the room, we realized it was not acceptable: • The bedsheets were dirty, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. • The floor and shower were dirty and clearly not cleaned properly. • The towels were old and worn out. • There was a bad smell in the room. • The mattress was extremely old, uneven, and uncomfortable, and we knew we wouldn’t be able to sleep there. My girlfriend was very upset and disappointed, and honestly the room felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave the hotel immediately. For $230, this room was nowhere near the standards advertised. I would absolutely not recommend staying here, and I believe a refund is completely justified.
