Abt. 20 min. to falls. Free prkng. when available.

Pros: The bed would have been comfortable if the noise from the air was not keeping us up.
Cons: Someone on duty later than 6 p.m. & earlier than 9 a.m. Barrier around air units to shield noise. Temporary suction soap dishes till order comes in.
Location: Location was 20 minutes to falls. Vineyard nearby if your interested in wine tasting. Shopping mall was 10 minutes away.
We requested a quiet room, away from any noise. Both reservationists and receptionist told us the third floor would be quiet, away from the downstairs restaurant/bar and parking lot. When we asked about the huge air conditioning units on the roof outside our window, Karen assured us that the air was off and the units would not be working. We would have no problem with noise. When we returned late after dinner, the units were on and continued making noise all night. At the time of check in, approx. 2 p.m. there were 15 rooms still available. She could have easily moved us to a quieter room. The bathroom light went out after our return from dinner and there was no on-site help from 6 P.M. Until 9 A.M. There was an emergency number but this was not a matter of life or death just very inconvenient shaving or putting on make up in the dark. There was no soap rack in shower. Soap kept falling. Was told they were on order but they never came in? We had a strong feeling when they saw the rate we received through you, the room location was not going to be in one of their better/quiet locations, especially since 15 rooms were still open.

We were sorry to read your night`s sleep was interrupted with noise from an outside unit. The staff on duty was correct in stating the air had been turned off however as she was on site well past 6:00, had she been made aware she would have moved you without hesitation and likely upgraded you for the inconvenience. We do hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back and look forward to it.

not good location for siteseeing

The hotel was just ok, the standard room had one high window so not much light. Only one chair so nowhere for 2 people to sit. Shower had no soap holders. The best part of hotel was the bar with good food and friendly bartenders.

Thank you for your comments, please know we are addressing the issue of shelving in the shower areas. The building was origionally constructed in the 1800's with few modifications over the years, the windows are original which is part of the historic value. We do hope to see you back again on your next travels to the Niagara area.
