The rooms are a bit dated, and unfortunately the hotel parking was full, so we had to park in the city lot dowm the street and walk over in pouring rain, which was inconvenient. The location, however, is a big plus, just a five-minute walk to Scotiabank Arena. The elevators had long wait times due to ongoing upgrades, and the soundproofing wasn’t great. We could clearly hear conversations in the hallway and toilets flushing from the floor above throughout the night. Our room being next to the elevators likely didn’t help. Friendly staff, overall 4 stars

Hotel was nice, clean, and had all the amenities we needed with a child with us. However checkin for an our room was delayed an hour later than expected (4pm rather than 3pm) which was annoying as we ended up waiting in the lobby at a table (no comfy couches??) bored for that time. If they had known it would be so long they could have told us to go to the pool or play room? They never texted us when the room was ready either - we had to go back to the lobby desk to see what was going on and they said it was ready then. So that was an annoying way to start a stay.

This hotel staff are above average, every person that we met there that worked there went above and beyond our expectations. From the restaurant to the concierge to the valet guys. There was one point we were asking one of the valet guys which way to go to a restaurant he walking us half way down the blockt to show us which way when he could’ve easily just pointed and said that way. We will be staying at this hotel again if we ever make it back to Toronto.

The elevators are almost all broken. One working for the entire busy hotel. Issue ongoing our whole 3 day stay and not a repairman in sight. We were trapped on our floors. The one functioning elevator was always full. The only accessible stairs are fire exit stairs and not meant to be used. Security knocking on our door at 4am claiming we placed a wake-up call we never preferred or received prior to being woken up at this hour. Rooms and pool are nice. Free cookie decorating was a plus.
