Not a reliable Hotel
The room was booked and paid with breakfast inclusive, however for some days the hotel refused to provide breakfast on basis that breakfast is prepared on basis of number of rooms booked in the Hotel. I have never come accross a hotel as bad as this. charging for breakfast and refusing to provide one. Never again at this hotel

Hotel was a short walk to the convention center which was very helpful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very crowded as there was a college volleyball tournament going on and most teams were staying there. Things were pretty loud but they was mostly out of the control of the hotel staff.

The hotel itself was decent and the location is great. However 1 month after we returned, I received a call from a manager telling me their books were off from the day we were there and did we happen to buy drinks or snacks. I had no memory or knowledge Of any transactions - if I or my kids had paid cash or card or charged to the room. The approach was very unprofessional, aggressive in tone, and manipulative. He very rudely told me he would be running my card without my authorization and no detailed receipt or even proof it was for us. He would not let me talk to a supervisor and told me he only answered to the owner of the hotel, which was found to be untrue. Eventually a higher-up was able to send me a detailed receipt of our $60 worth of charges that accidentally did not get ran and I approved the transactions no problem. Just a bad judgement and terrible customer service that ruined the experience and will cause me to find other places to stay.

The only thing we were disappointed in was the size of the bathroom. It was very small. Service and location was perfect. It was expensive but most hotels are during Big 12 Tournament time. That’s why so many people are using VRBO’s!

The carpeted was old and dirty looking but the worst part of the stay was our proximity to the elevators, which were constantly swishing by. The bathroom was very tight too. The staff was nice and the lobby was nice. The mattresses and pillows were lumpy though. We just didn’t sleep well.

The customer service was great and everyone was very friendly. There were serveral issues with the suite room. 1) The drapes were on a remote but didnt work. 2) The shower temperature woild fluctuate from hot and cold, sometimes to an extream. 3) No microwave. A suite and no microwave? Very odd. 4) Our suite was by the elevator and we could hear it going all thought the day and night. 5) We parked in the hotel ramp but at times it was so full we could not find a spot.

Very old building and elevator, old dust in the bathroom outlets, small bathrooms, shower curtain was small and dirty. Breakfast was horrible- very greasy, runny eggs, limited flavor. This is not an 8 star hotel. I would rate it a 2 star with breakfast and how old the hotel is.
