Nice hotel - across the street from the ballpark!

Pros: City view and proximity to Bush Stadium.
Cons: loud air conditioner
Location: Bush stadium, restaurants, gambling, site-seeing.
This is a nice hotel, just a short walk to the ballpark and parking. It was hot so that was really nice. The lobby and facilities are well-done. Room was quiet and spacious with an wonderful view of Arch and river. There is a rooftop restaurant with views of the city. Bed was comfortable. My only complaint would be the air conditioner was loud. Didn't bother my husband at all but I am a light sleeper. It didn't have a continuous fan and was loud every time it came on. Not all rooms may be that way.

Not what I was expecting

The room was ok. The bathroom was so small! The door almost hit the toilet when opened. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Great Hilton staff, but not a Hilton quality room

Pros: Staff
The staff was amazing, very helpful and concerened about my needs. But my room was disappointing, TV screen had something ran down on it from previous persons stay. The bathroom had one towel for the shower, but five for my hands. Overall a nice experience, but for being a Hilton, I expected nicer arrangements. Most hotels I have stayed at, parking, Internet, and breakfasts are included with the price of the room, but I was charged outragious prices for these. Example being $27.00 to park my car outside, and $10.00 for Internet. Nice place, but will look for somewhere else to stay next time in St.Louis.

1st time stay at the Hilton

Pros: Décor and elevators marble mirrors throughout
Cons: room updates
Location: very convenient. we walked everywhere.
The room was alright. I did expect a little more. Only one small comfortable chair for the pair if us. Could have had a small frig. Shower operation a little confusing. View was awesome. Bedside lamp shades were crooked and very much pushed against the walls upon 1st entering the room, had to actually push one lamp back together. We usually stay at a Marriot. Your overall Hotel Is very beautiful and contains the same style in my own home, oriental accents, mirrored furniture, large white vases and Lots of shinny silver accessories. Service was outstanding and friendly. Room appeared to be older room.

Isn't the place for me

I did not have a pleasant stay at this Hilton. The bathroom was so small that the toilet prevented the bathroom door from opening all the way so you have to slide into the bathroom and then close the door. Try doing this with a toddler who is potty training. We also did not receive housekeeping services everyday because the housekeeper was out on vacation! So I called the front desk and requested towels and trash bags to clean my room. I could not believe this stay. I will not be returning. I normally stay at the Hyatt but the Food Safety Symposium was held here.
