We were greeted at the front desk. We arrived early and were accommodated with early check in. Our trip to Union Station Christmas lights was spectacular. We came in on the train and it is a quick easy walk to and from the train. We will definitely stay again.

Staying here was a great decision!!! Brian was so helpful. The room was perfect (even had a dishwasher!?!) and it was the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel!!!! I highly recommend it!

This hotel was excellent for my short trip to KC. Loved that the KC trolley was just steps away and took me to all the places I wanted to visit--for FREE. The T-Mobile Center is near and walkable, but the trolley drops you off at the center. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful if I had a question. My room was clean and comfortable. Lovely environment for a quick getaway.

The front desk folks were great. From Bryan when we check in to Nicholas to someone who didn't text me, they were all friendly and happy to help. I hope the folks who run this hotel realize what a gift this is. The room was clean and very functional (okay, the hide-o-bed probably needs to be replaced), and though it could use a few more well-placed electrical outlets, it is a very functional place to stay. The bathroom and shower were spotless, and the towels were clean and fluffy. The breakfast was hot and tasty, the coffee was hot and good (also sort of a surprise). I still wonder how most self-serve breakfasts at places in this price range have hard-boiled eggs that look like someone played ping-pong with them... The lobby and dining area was clean and well-lit. It's a nice bonus to look out and see the street car go by! The elevators could use a little work, but no biggy. A very good location on the streetcar line and within walking distance of many fine restaurants and entertainment as well! If you don't need the Ritz, this is a great place to stay. It's clean, comfortable, and safe.
